Collider also put a print review by Vinnie Mancuso.
It was pretty positive.
Collider situation actually pretty unique, usually vid crew are more positive and writer crew are harder to please.
RIP Schnepp.
So far 75%, 64 reviews in.

Just minor rant.
While I do think that sometimes DC movies scrutinized more than their peers within the genre, some incident today reminded me again that I frustrated with attitude of some of DC fans. Or CBM fans in general, regardless of 'allegiances'.
I understand that critics and many people mocks on DC and its fans for a long time with great glee and hyperboles and whatnot. There are critics who revel fans' hysteric reactions.
And it tends to make fans to be very defensive.
But digging any stains or bad behavior from past tweets, sending threats and wishing bad things happen to them OR their families... WTF.
To the point that I heard some of them put out some reminder that opinions may vary and please don't take things personally before dropping their reviews.
Critics aren't infallible. We can disagree and questions their statements or opinions. Some of their complaints are weird, or even factually wrong / not well researched,
but some of them are genuine about what they are feeling.
Several people calling them names, shilles, stupid etc won't change that. They could retaliate or even bitter about the fandom.
This makes fandom name/ image looks bad and perhaps could make people dreaded or wary to be involved in DC/ CBM related stuff.
And heres the thing, the complaints seem VERY subjective. Its not like we're hearing complaints about the editing or pacing or coherence of the film which has been a problem for DC since BvS. Or bad special effects or CGI. Those kinds of technical issues are crippling to a movie but if the cheese factor and over the topness is whats turning people off then its all good. That first trailer announced that this movie was going to be an epic bug nuts, bonkers adventure and we all signed up for it.
Cheese, over-the-top stuff and length I could understand putting some off. This is all out, and I love that about it.And heres the thing, the complaints seem VERY subjective. What the heck did they expect from an Aquaman movie? Granted, I haven’t seen the movie yet so perhaps the film might be guilty of overboard with the cheesiness. Regardless, I’m even more curious to see the film and form my judgement.Cheese, over-the-top stuff and length I could understand putting some off. This is all out, and I love that about it.
I don't think it's a surprising amount given the trailers, but it's definitely there in abundance lol. People who enjoyed the trailers are likely to enjoy the films IMO and vice versa. What the heck did they expect from an Aquaman movie? I thought people would be happier. Maybe it's because the twitter reactions were really glowing, although they very often are.75% range is good, so I'm glad it's reviewing well. Remember BvS, MoS, JL and SS when you see Aquaman's score.
I voted to preserve the real Atlantis and keep it free from risk of accidental damage and Momoa's rowdiness and practical jokes, so even on that front, Wan Wins!Shame on Wan for not going underwater and finding actual Atlantis to film there.
SHAME!

Nice one - hope you enjoy dude!Tickets purchased and I couldn't be more excited. Rotten Tomatoes score is about what I was expecting, so no complaints from me. If the biggest concern is how wacky and over the top it is, then it really could be worse!
Nice one - hope you enjoy dude!
And I think those are good things lol so it suited me.
Exactly. I don't need a wacky version of Nolan TDK.Thanks dude!
Right?! The only time I don't want those things are when they don't suit the character(s) (ie. Batman). Otherwise, Aquaman seems like the perfect hero to go all out with when it comes to being comic-booky and over the top.

Huh? It totally does lol. There's a blurb on RT where a 'critic' whines the film doesn't have an eco message.....that's some A+ trolling right there

Not the first time basic facts and reasoning are flat out wrong in reviews. That is really a strange thing to say. Will make a lot more sense when people have seen the film. And was this person asleep at certain moments or did they just not watch that far?Yep. And it's of course a rotten review and I think from 'top critic' too
Heck, Ragnarok is my favourite Marvel movie so you know I'm not lying.
I'm really glad this is being reviewed well, I've been excited about it for a while. It sounds like a lot of fun and a big spectacle so I can't wait to see it.
