This constant head canon to fix continuity errors is mind boggling. Just accept that that later movies didn't want to be tied to the poor and lazy decisions of earlier movies. The Emma in Origins was probably meant to be THE Emma. But she was barely a shadow of the comic book Emma, leaving many fans wanting to see a hellfire Emma with telepathy and fashionable white clothing. That's what we got in First Class. There's no way such a inconsequential non-Character in Origins is at all tied to First Class.

And now I'm seeing the same arguments about Angel. Like this Angel might be Worthington I. If you need to convince yourself of this to watch the movie then fine, but don't forget these are head canons and most of us gladly accept that characters wasted in Origins and X3 are being retconned.

Archangel could possibly be covered in tattoos or ancient markings. Or at least have the markings on his body in the same forms of the Archangel blue and pink costume from the comics be the result of the transformation to Archangel. It's a good excuse to show off Hardy's body.

Yup, there was Emma in Origins, but what was her surname Frost or Silverfox?
She had only diamond skin power, not telepath, didn't what was Scott talking about when he heard Xavier voice.
Both, Kayla and Emma are daughters of FC Emma Frost.
Kayla got telepath power, Emma jr. got diamond skin power.

This was not the case. Thats just more fan reaching in order for this series to make sense with all it's problems. Which it won't, as we were flat out told to forget Origins. That movie made mistakes that the current film makers didn't care to keep , I don't see what's so hard to understand. Her name was supposed to be Frost, for the reasons I already stated. Even under the First Class January Jones Cerebro Tracker years later it said she was kidnapped by Stryker with Cyclops in Origins. They were intended to be the same character. It was just ****** writing.

But hey, at this point go with whatever makes you feel better I guess.

Just like Singer never explained how Wolverine in the future had his adamantium claws.

Hugh Jackman leaving isn't the end of the franchise. They've just recast Angel, Cyclops, Storm, Jean, Nightcrawler, Jubilee and possibly Psylocke - all of which are MAJOR X-Men characters. The franchise is pretty much set from here on out.

They recast Angel, Cyclops, Storm, Jean, Nightcrawler, ... possibly Psylocke to play the young version !!! only in this prequel trilogy


If they make a new x-men movie setting in present days Marsden, Berry , etc ... would return

Definitely this. A good excuse to show off the physique -- which they will most likely want to take advantage of -- and make his look more interesting rather than putting him in a costume.

Yes but people were wondering why he was Patrick Stewart still.

That said, I was one of the few people that was bugged by Vaughn showing a young Scott and Storm in the Cerebro sequence in FC (which tbh was still dumb...don't tell us you can't have the big 3 as First Class mutants but then show them as cameos in the same movie as practically the age as the "First Class" characters you settled with).

But now I say bring it on.

If Bryan et al think they can make Jubilee and Angel better characters than their previous appearance in the movies, which isn't that hard to top, then I'm all for it.

No need to explain that this Warren Worthington is X3's grandfather...LOL

Because when Ben Hardy was reported to have join the cast of X Men: Apocalypse, it mentioned that he will have a "significant" role.


I guess the "significant" refers to Angel become Archangel, one of the four horsemen.

You all were, so here it is: cool it with the talk of timelines/continuity/old casts etc. in this thread, unless it DIRECTLY relates to Archangel, because those conversations are not only off-topic, but also seem to have the magical power of instantly turning everyone into children.

Should anyone choose to continue that line of discussion in here after this warning, I will assume they are looking for some time off.
