You are right though about those who loved the first movie wont give a re-make, sequal, do-over, make-over, lighter, more action, less Ang like movie a chance. That's sad because if and that's a BIG IF, the next movie totally rocks, you guys will be missing out. I for one hope the next movie Totally ROCKS

Hahahah who said they'd miss out? Most people have said(including me no less) that they'll give the film a chance. As long as Hulk shows up(as he did in the first one) i'll be there. Unless it's a man-in-suit, then i'll probably show up later, like when it's out on dvd or something.
Still, I guess i'm a 'serious' freak.

i hope the next one is great too, i more than anything want Hulk movies to be hits like Xmen films, if the next one is a hit, then i'll be happy.

Yeah, but that probably has more to do with frustration from the lack of real info so far except the hiring of Penn, who isn't a shining star among film writers(or even just comic adaption based film writers). It's not like that thread was based off a well informed fan.
Still I think most fans(of the first film) would enjoy the film even if its a little different. As long as it's a good movie. Infact even if the story sucks, as long as it's "Hulk" in the action i'd enjoy it still.

I really only like Hulk, not a fan of most of his other films. Ice Storm had its moments though.
