Mistakes The Incredible Hulk should avoid IMO

The Hulk was EXTREMELY soft in Ang's film. Hulk is Rage, Anger, Unstoppable Power, Bruce is the soft, analytical, sympathetic side. That was the biggest mistake in my mind. Ang's Hulk seemed like a frighten cub backed into a corner.

Yeah, and once in the corner, he grabbed your buddy's tank and beat you with it...

... go watch the Hulk vs Dogs scene and tell me that s**t was soft.

Ah thats fine, but alot of people complained that Hulk was too big, as in he should've been lou ferrigno's size...

The Hulk should have been the correct size like in the comic book. Not King Kong!

8 to 9 ft tall.

The Hulk is not a track and field athlete. Slow him down!!!!! He should be no faster than a normal man. He covers distances quickly by leaping not super-speeding.

I agree, he's not called Flash Hulk! He jumps to go great distances! But A. Lee had no clue because he never read any other comic book hero's.

oh yes... he has the power to jump for miles in his legs... but not to run more faster than a normal man?!? This is not realistic!

that hulk was less than 2 weeks old, give him time...

i would have liked to see how angry you were when you were a kid

jesus, spidey can sprint at 70 mph, so why was it wrong to see the hulk running at that pace...

he has an enhanced speed but it's not high enough to be classed as super-speed (i.e. at the very least faster than sound).

what was wrong with the speed of his running shown, it wasn't like he was running notoriously long distances, he was basically doing a short sprints, no big deal, all of them were great scenes, let's keep them in the next film.

thank you

ok, enough of the running debate obviously we all feel passionate about our opinions...

A better subject is at the very least there needs to be a HULK move or 2 in this one, whether it be a ground smash or thunder-clap or ground stomp I hope there is at least 1 of those...

it's actually very hard in human nature to sympathise with very angry people.

not all of the people who piss banner off deserve a hulk style bashing

also it is very hard to empathise with someone who causes multi-million pounds worth of damage everytime they go off on a mindless rampage so from a director's point of view (especially when aimed at children so you can't glorify anti-social violence), you have to be very careful at the angle you tackle the hulk from.

you don't want kids coming out of it and thinking a fit of rage and violence will solve all your problems.

Yeah, I don't see what the big deal is. Hulk CAN run really fast. I think I mentioned earlier that even Ultimate Hulk has been clocked at speeds in excess of 200mph.

And to the poster that mentioned wanting to see "moves", the one I'm particularly hoping for, of course, is the thunderclap.

But this is not a Ultimate Hulk movie.

Sheesh!! The Hulk can run fast. He's always been able to run fast. If he can leap over 2 miles don't ya think that, just maybe, he can run pretty fast as well?

But this is not a Ultimate Hulk movie.

A startling revelation. My point was that UH is, at this point, regarded as weaker than his mainstream counterpart. Hence, 616 Hulk should have no problem matching or exceeding anything UH is capable of at this point.

Apparently all that logic and history gets lost in the translation,

But this is not a Ultimate Hulk movie.

The regular Hulk has more powers than Ultimate Hulk.

I think what they should avoid is making the characters like Betty and Banner too emo and boring. I don't mean emo as in crying but like standing there like a freakin facade. I think Jennifer Connely had one face expression for the whole film. I think Banner should be emotional but it should be with some sort of rage, like it can't be contained. Bill Bixby was perfect at this.

A mix of CGI & Prosthetics, Mainly CGI but prosthetics wen needed, I have no idea how that will work...

watch the league of extraordinary Gentlemen and check out mr.hyde, that might be wut there going for with the hulk
