There have been a bunch of celebs of one caliber or another posting here.....there have been a lot of comic book writers and artists that post on here too.

The guy that played DA Finch in Batman Begins used to post on here if I remember correctly, sadly he did pass away a year or so ago. That was the only one in that area I remember.

He was a real nice guy. We talked in emails for a long time....he even sent me stuff from the independant movie he directed called MY FATHER'S HOUSE.

With the G-Ratedness, I'm curious what exactly turns the "celebs" away?

I personally have talked to two "celebs" who stopped posting at the Hype because of rude/crude posters on here. One was DC comics artist Jamal Igle who was racially and personally attacked by some idiots here (I banned them)....the other was a minor actor that asked me not to reveal his name (he was a young actor on the start who was upset by the rudeness of some people).

It's sad really....I read a lot of people on here saying how they wish some celebs would come on and post...and when they do all they see is many of our posters being jerks.

yes and some people would go out of their way to "troll" these people because they think they'd get e-cred or cool points when it is anything but.

some occassions usually do work. i've seen some appeals be accepted, infraction removed, others denied.

Yeah, Jamal actually accepted my friend request on here. He actually catches up via email like once in a blue moon, but Lee pretty much is correct as to why he left.
