What are the Bat Boards like these days? I know they go crazy at sometimes. I never see many Bat Boaders, they never emerge out their caves.

The Bat boards have never been that bad. It was just a couple people who were so fiercely opposed to any criticism of The Dark Knight Trilogy, you'd have your face ripped off. But now that the trilogy is over, the boards are fairly quiet.

You'll never know true crazyness until you visit the Skyfall IMDB boards. Almost every page is dominated by how terrible Brosnan is, or how terrible Moore is, or how terrible Craig is, how short he is, how old he is, how blonde he is, how terrible the film is, how terrible it is that Skyfall doesn't adhere to the Formula, how superior Brosnan is, how superior Moore is, and possibly the most prevalent "issue", the lack of a gun barrel at the beginning and how it destroys the film.

The deadest board. Because the deadest board would create no discussion.

Just skimming the boards, the 'GI Joe World' forum hasn't had a post in about six months, so yeah probably that one (unless people are arguing about kung-fu grips).

Yeah i was on IMDB before I came over here back in the day. The worst boards I have ever been to. I still lurk now and then but mostly for tv shows not movies.

People complain about mods on here, but since middle school i frequented a hip hop board and IMDB neither of which had mods. I'd pick havng mods over a sh**-show forum like Ive been to before.

And honestly it's not that hard to not get in trouble here as long as you have common sense and know how to discuss things without being an ass

IMDB best board was the Cloverfield board. I don't think I ever saw such positivity or great attempts at solving the virals (other than SHH who has some pretty damn smart decoders) as I did with that board.

Only legit good times moment from IMDB I've ever had.

I'll check there occasionally. Especially if I watch a film with an ending that's open to interpretation. Unfortunately any decent conversation gets buried by trolls.

bat boards actually resulted in many a server crash in days long gone.

anyone remember the when the hype used to shut down every night for maintenance for about a half hour? those were the days

IMDb is definitely one of the worst forum boards I have ever witnessed. There seems to be no real authority on the boards even though I hear countless times from some posters that there is.

You know, I went looking to see whatever happened to that HowardStark guy, and didn't realize he'd been linked to a troll accounts. I was really sure mos tof the time he was, all he started were versus threads and random character threads in the Star Wars forums. Really crappy thing he pulled, but I guess if he's trolled before, its nothing new.
