This might be a bit behind, but when was Optimus Prime banned and why? I had actually forgotten about him until I ventured into a thread where he had previously posted and saw "banned user" under his name.

He was known to push buttons. I'm surprised he went relatively quiet though since most of his posting was in this section of the forum.

The 1% in these parts consists of all those people who sign up and either post a few times or never post at all. They never have the chance to become insufferable *******s, or else they'd be lumped in with the rest of us.

When that personality trait begins to bleed into posts and turns to trolling and flaming, then there is a problem. You can be a jerk and still post on this site with no problem.

You may be thinking about different people, but Optimus Prime fit this description.

Yeah sounds about right. He was in the relationship thread a lot giving out advice, usually terrible advice.
