Going to legitimately miss I AN LEGEND. He was a nice and friendly poster from what I can see. Always liked talking with him.

He'll be lucky if he's not fired as well.

Yes, unfortunately. Some of us in the thread warned him this would happen if he leaked anything, but apparently he did it anyways.

I saw that...you guys tried to help him.

catching up with that thread and wow he really blew it. Doesn't help when you have posters like theShape egging you on & calling you a fake for not providing details they somehow feel they're entitled to but he still should have known better. Too bad.

It should definitely be common sense to not post sensitive information like that and we absolutely did the right thing on our part to protect the site as well as the company who's information was being leaked. Whiskey is completely right about theShape though. He completely egged him on and then had the gall to say this:

If I was working on the film, I would never let him back on or near the set. You can't have people like that working for you.

I do feel bad for the guy, but he did it to himself.
It was more like an assisted suicide more than anything and then he goes on to take zero accountability. That's the problem with a lot of people today. Accountability is dead.

He was an extra on TASM2 and had signed an NDA with them. If they find out about this (they probably will) then he'll be blacklisted and may even face legal repercussions if they deem it fit.

Breaching an NDA isn't something to take lightly.

Wow, that's pretty sweet. Hope they don't find out who he is, if Sony is even aware of all this.

Lets hope getting blacklisted is the worse thing he's gonna experience, nothing else.

He didn't really leak anything though. The most he did was talk about you-know-who being in the movie and say he saw concepts of stuff. Not saying that's an excuse for him not get banned, but let's not make it out like he actually leaked pics and detailed info.

He should have sent the pics and info to CBM anonymously rather than posting about them here.

I don't think he should have sent the stuff anywhere. If you sign an agreement you should keep your word. If people give you the opportunity to be a part of something cool like this you shouldn't break their trust, whether you think you'll get caught or not.

Exactly.

Yeah I'm not saying that's not the case. I'm just saying, he knew that and wanted to spread the info anyway. The right way to do that is sending it to CBM (or some other site) anonymously if you're going to ignore the NDA all together anyway.

Co-signed.

Eh, I really think that's a little unfair. I never called him a "fake" and actually always believed him, I just said I hate when people do what he was doing, which was flaunting something in front of our faces and not giving details about it. I basically said he had to choose one way or the other, tell us or don't. None of us were aware that he signed an NDA (at least I wasn't) until he "waved it in front of my face", so to speak, in his reply: "You want a picture of the non disclosure?" or something like that. After that, I sternly warned him several times that breaking the NDA was bad news. He even asked us what we thought (if Sony was watching the thread), and I gave him a lengthy and completely logical, non-hostile response trying to help him.

I get it, the guy was really excited. Any one of us would be. But he did it to himself simply because he broke his NDA agreement by saying things he shouldn't have. I didn't break any such agreement and knew nothing about it when I typed my first post in that conversation. I didn't force anyone to break a contract. If anything, he would have been more influenced by the dozens of posters asking him to confirm the plot details/concepts he saw. I never once asked him one thing like that.

Show me where I called him a fake. And I don't feel like I'm entitled to anything, but when a person starts chirping on these forums while holding back on the goods, you know people always question them and get riled up about it. It's nothing new, happens in every forum at the Hype. Something like that happened in the MOS forum with a dude claiming he had exclusive set pics and he would post them later. He announced the goods he had to us all, get everyone excited and staying up all hours of the night to see something, and the guy never delivers. I was annoyed because I could see the road we were going down, or at least one possible scenario. My concern had nothing to do with whether it was all true or not.

After one post which you claim "egged" him on, I completely flipped my focus to the fact that he had broken his NDA and he should chill. I'm sorry if you think I was being too rude at first.

Whoa, what the hell did I miss? The good stuff always happens when I'm gone. :(
