Man, they have been talking about Warzone for years. Ive been waiting years and so have you. Ive heard a ton of release dates, they always fall through. I wont believe this movie is gonna happen until opening day when Im in the theater.

They will think about releasing it in theaters and then at the last minute they will make it direct to DVD. The people that made this movie have their head shoved so far up their @ss that the lump in their throat is their damn nose:cmad:

Why do you even come to this board?

I agree with this statement. I think and have always thought the same thing.

I actually hope so too. I wish the rights would revert back to Marvel, that way maybe in a few years we may see a reboot that shows the masterpieces of every famous Garth Ennis told in minute detail. If Begins taught us anything it's that they should stay true to the source material.

It taught me that if you want a comic book movie to be a great film, you need Christopher Nolan to direct it.

Yeah why do people post their opinions on this board. I come here in hopes that I might, just might see something that will change my mind about this movie. Instead all I see is more bull$#it. I know it is just my opinion but that does not mean I can't post it:cwink::woot:

If Meet the Spartans, Daddy Day Camp and countless of horrible movies make it to the big screen, why wouldn't War Zone be released in theaters?* I know wishing a movie doesn't make it to the big screen is one thing, but the movie studio has final say.* Remember Lionsgate keeps releasing Larry the Cable Guy movies and they flop, they can sure as hell afford to release this one in theaters. I'm not going to flip flop my opinion, I believe Lexi knows what she's doing and I'll be there with fellow action movie fans watching Ray Stevenson portraying the best Frank Castle to date.:brucebat:

This thread is pointless. Of course this movie is going to be in theatres. Lionsgate is putting Midnight Meat Train in theatres for heaven's sake. I think they know what potential this movie has. It will definitely not be a flop. Even the first one didn't flop... even though it made most of its money after it was released on DVD... it was still a money making film.

Robert Rodriguez & Frank Miller also did an amazing job with Sin City.

My point exactly.:unishr:

I think this movie will have the same appeal and success that Hitman or Death Sentence had late last year...But yea after seeing things like a hand cannon with a skull logo on it and all kinds of unneccesary garbage attached to it, im starting to agree with what ObakeTora said and thinking that a direct to DVD release while we're waiting for a reboot within the next 5-6 years or so would be a good thing.

Man, this happens with every comic flick. People cry the blues about stuff and say "OMG THIS MOVIE WILL BE TEH SUCK" and then they still sit their ass down in the theatre when the movie does come out.

Anyone who thinks it'll go straight to DVD is wrong. Dead wrong... :unishr:

direct-to-dvd! rabble rabble rabble!!!

i'm not even dignifying that poll with a response...

it's amusing that some of you still press on with that, this is obviously coming to theaters first. i'm with punisher_04 on having faith in lexi, i think she's going to deliver a good punisher movie.

i think that the upcoming comic flicks will play a role in the success of this punisher film. if iron man, the incredible hulk, and the dark knight are all as awesome as they look, people will be more willing to see another movie based on a comic book. and if they see that this time the punisher is just kickin' all sorts of ass, well, that's what appeals to the masses these days...

Warzone reeks of a direct to dvd release. For some reason it reminds me of the last 2 Crow movies, which were going to have a theatrical release but never did.

Every one should know by now it dosn't matter how crappy the comedy is it still makes it to theaters. Look at the first Harold and Kumar. Hmmm... maybe if they market this movie as a crappy comedy it will make it to theaters...:woot::cwink:

It's not even about how "good" the movie is or isn't...if you honestly think that LGF would pass on the opportunity to cash in on a Marvel name like "The Punisher" with a straight to DVD release you are stupid.

In my opinion, of course. ;)

Yeah because it did so well the last two times they tried to cash in on the franchise. But then again I'm so stupid that only I can see that.:woot:

I think it will get released in theatres and can't wait for it.

People should wait to see a trailer before hating on this film. We haven't seen much at all yet.

Nope havn't seen a trailer yet just a lot of bad photos. Well he dosn't look bad as the Punisher all the guns I've seen so far look crappy.:cwink::woot:
