Are we all jumping to conclusions?.....What if the Goblin.........isn't Harry?

What if we have all just been assuming that because there is a Goblin in the film that its Harry. What if the reason the Goblin looks so different is becuase it is Hobgoblin......not GG2, who Harry is suposed to be? What if harry takes his fathers formula and gives it to someone else, making them the Hobgoblin? What if Harry never actualy dons the costume, or only becomes GG2 at the end of the film? What if all of us overly obsessed fan boys have been clamoring over the costume for no reason? Is it possible, could we have assumed to much? Is that what Raimi wants us to do, and is he going to do this in the movie? Will he lead us on for the first hour of the movie that Harry is the goblin only to reveal somone else?

If anyone else thinks I could be on to something please let me know

To be honest I don't think the end of SM2 adds up to Harry becoming the GG2...I mean, he was willing to let Peter live before he realized his pop was the GG...I would think he'd harbor less ill will after knowing the truth....

I just honestly wish they would have him drink the formula and mutate into GG2, kind of the way GG looks in Ultimate. That would be fun.

What if though, they have Harry trying to be a vigilanty himself?????????????

I think they'll throw a table right at us (to wake us up) and reveal 2 (count 'em 2) Goblins in the movie....Norman Osborn/Green Goblin and Harry Osborn/Green Goblin II. I do not believe Harry will become the Hobgoblin (i hope not, save Hobby for another movie and his own storyline). Just like with Uncle Ben's flashbacks, I believe Norman could reappear in a mirror (or in real life) as GG, and then we know Harry becomes some sort of Goblin, hopefully GG2. I also believe that "Avi Arad's Big 4th Villain Announcment" could be the revelation of Norman as GG, back from the grave, not in any mirros, in flesh and blood.. (think about it...it would shock alot of fans)

That would be realy cool "Iron Man", but what if they have Rod Kingsly as Harrys test subject, because Harry would want to test it first before using it on himself, so Kingsly becomes Hobgoblin, and hes the one we see in that crazy snow suit costume.Perhaps later on in the film Harry takes the formula, doning the original GG costume and saves Peters ass from the new menacing Hobgoblin?

Well as a rule I say you can never have too much Willem Dafoe in a movie so....

sounds good to me.

I don't think Harry will take the formula, whether or not he becomes GG2 - he'd have known it made his dad nuts.

I kind of like that idea. The idea of Harry trying to out trump Spider-Man by coming a vigilante himself. They would get into some fights...aerial battles of course, etc etc...

I still say they should stick with Harry taking the formula, goes crazy with super powers with his dad Norman in his head agging him on to kill Spider-Man. But I still think GG2 will be Harry.
