Yes, that's right folks. Harry in Spider-Man 3 isn't GG2, he isn't the Hobgoblin. He is the biggest mort ever from Spider-Man's rogue gallery - THE ROCKET RACER!

I find this highly disturbing, and I think fans should be vocal about it. If memory serves me correctly Hulk was given purple pants in the movie because of outcry from the fans. I seriously wouldn't be suprised now if Harry were to say catch prases like "to the extreme", or "that's not rad, man".

That costume is downright embarassing.

Yeah, I know that there is a thread already talking about Harry's costume, but the fans need to be vocal about it. Keep this thread bumped up, so sony can see it, and from now on start referring to Harry as "THE ROCKET RACER!"
(make sure it has the "!" at the end.)

Sony,Raimi, change the costume, make it look cool before it's too late.

yes please change it, if you thought the power ranger comments were bad with the first one its gonna get alot worse

You aint got a chance against the Green Sky-surfer.

thats how its going to be theres no going back. the dollar sign says No.

I guess they could call him The Green Rocket Goblin Racer Person.

^But he has no green on,and no Goblin traits,he looks more like Rocket Racer than any type of Goblin at all.

Does he at least take the performance enhancers? He would have been killed in the scene were he fights Peter in his street clothes if he hadn't taken anything. Why even use the persona of the Green Goblin 2 after he had already taken Peter on in battle looking like this? Is Harry so unrecognizable like this that Peter couldn't figure out who it is?

Well, based on some of the rumors, he almost DOES get killed in his first attack on Peter.

And yes, he clearly is the Ultimate Mort.

i was wondering the same thing, about the performance enhancers

Rofl! The resemblence is uncanny! If Harry looks like that through the whole movie (which I don't think he will), I'm never going to get the "Rocket Racer" comparison outta my head. Oh man too good.

If the suit is gonna look like this, at least don't call him GG2. The glider is okay. I think they gave him this suit because they want to give him that "good guy" look. Harry is my favorite character in the Spidey movies, and I hope they change the suit. Its highly doubtful that they will, but I won't complain.

I believe they did it to distinguish him from norman. After all, he doesn't want to be connected with all the murders his dad did. I believe I read in a script review (may not be true) that he comes to term with his inner demons, an din the final battle, he goes full goblin gear, which sounds like it will actually happen. I like the glider and the suit, the only thing I hate is that paintball mask thing.

I would prefer the more traditional GG style glider. It could be a slightly different model but the same basic device and structure. There's something about the Rocket-Racer-esk flying skate board that is just not right. The glider though is cool beans city, AND its one of the things that they got nearly spot on right in the first film.

Plus, I think it would be more interesting if Harry as GG looked almost identical to his dad as GG - (granted some changes in costume, but the same basic glider). That way the first time Spidey sees him, it would be a real mind freak. Like seeing a ghost. Peter would have to think, "IS that Norman?!"

I agree with you. Harry probably doesn't want to look like the same villain his dad was. He wants a look for himself. But the one they went with, I don't know. I'm not saying it sucks. It's okay to me.

It can be strange, but I liked Harry's glider.

Me too. The glider looks like a fine piece of equipment to me.

I completely agree, TT. If they don't leverage the whole mind-f**k potential of Petey seeing the Green Goblin coming after him even though he already killed him once I will be really disappointed.
