Are we gonna get the classic Michael Bay 'slow-mo pose' in Transformers that we get in all his other films?

You know the one; In Bad Boys 1 it was after Will Smith saved Martin Lawrence from getting hit from the cab, as they stand up we get the worms eye view of them standing up in slo-motion...

In The Rock it was after Nic Cage escapes from the car before the tram crushes it, and we get a slo-mo shot of Nic Cage standing up as the camera pans around him, from a worms eye view.

...i think it's in most of Bays films. Anyway i wonder if it'll be in Transformers? And will the humans get the pose, or will the TF's?

Your thoughts...

that would actually be cool with robots........seriously

hes also been doing bullet time lately........as cliche as that is...i still like it

what Bay movie isn't complete without those. And don't forget his odd cameo appearances such as crappy car driver in Bad Boys 2.

i've never seen a Michael Bay movie before....
Can't ever say I've wanted to.

It will be cool to see Prime and the rest of the autobots stand up in the pose as they watch....
Bumblebee been flown away after he's captured by the government trying to save Sam and Mikaela

That seems like the most logical time to do it. Im sure we see it at some point.

id like to see it with the decepticons better though......

for badass points

Thing is the only time Ive seen the slo-mo used is when the heroes have failed in some fashion

Bad Boys: Julie is taken hostage
The Rock: Mason gets away from Goodspeed
Bad Boys 2: Burnett and Lowrey find out Burnetts sister is being held captive

Don't forget the same pose happened in

Pearl Harbor - Japanese jets fly over head.
Armageddon - twice in that movie - When the meteor hits the city the black guys looks up. Second time when Ben Affleck shows up on the meteor.

I don't hate Bay. I hate Murphy. I never once ripped Bay. Its all about Murphy, baby.

Slo-mo vision of Prime from a birds eye view. He raises his rifle with one arm,Slowly looks up and says "Megatron must be stopped, No matter the cost"

"The Rock" is the only movie of Michael Bay's that you need to see. Hell, it's so good there's even a Criterion Collection DVD for it.

we'd better get something like this, hell, that's why bay gets hired. i may be a little hesitant about the way the decepticons look, but there's no doubt this film will be visually stunning. transformers is going to be huge next summer.

In recent years... that's not saying much.
Michael Bay is known for introducing 1980's style Music Video cliched camera work into his movies.

The first and the best of that style? Sure!!! Inspired countless "hack" directors (watch Elektra)? For sure!!!

One of the worst moviemakers of all time? Absolutely!

I wonder if Bay only does the 'pose' for the heroes? Looking abck at all his movies, like Stringer said, it's when the heroes fail in some way. I sure as hell hope it's not used for Sam and Mikaela, or any other human characters..

If the Autobots do fail in some way Bay has to do it when one of them transforming then pose. I would say Prime would be best to do it.

Oh, we'll see that from Megatron definately, especiallly if he gets a new body. I do have to admit that would be a good camera trick for that sort of a reveal.

It could also work for Megatron's awakening too.

Are you trying to be sarcastic, or are you being series?

i was being..............series:(

what ws that pic of him covered in ice for then?
DONT TELL ME!
