I guess it is worse when an amazing actor is just lazy and gives a bad perfomance than a bad actor giving a bad perfomance. I can't say enough how excited I was when Bale was cast for a Terminator film, but I guess we can't win em all.

I haven't seen a single performance of this Jai guy so I have no expectations but I friggin' adore Emilia Clarke and Jason Clarke is a very promising actor so I can't help but root for this movie. I guess I'll just have to lower my expectations.

Agreed, I have only seen him in 2 movies but he hasnt given a bad performance in either.

My issue if anything is Courtney is too masculine for Kyle Reese.

He's too much a stereotypical brawny action hero. Kyle Reese isn't like that.

You know who I just realized would make a perfect older John Connor? Norman Reedus. He looks like what Edward Furlong would look like if he had kept his **** together.

Plus, he's a total badass. But I guess with the new actors, it kind of negates the reason for characters to look like the previous actors like Biehn, Hamilton and Furlong.

Yup. Out of nowhere Sam Worthington starred in Terminator Salvation, Avatar, and Clash of the Titans, and then....not much afterward.

Hollywood tried to turn him into their Next Big Thing action star, and it just didn't happen. So now they're trying to do it with Jai Courtney.

the Worthington story is very simple. he was cast in Avatar. Cameron looked for a specific face and actor who was very cheap. Sam got cast. Avatar was Cameron's first movie after 12 years. so hollywood noticed that this guy was cast and they wanted a piece of him.hollywood knew how actors got big after being in a Cameron movie. fact. for WB it was very simple. Cameron created the terminator franchise so by having Sam in it they could promote the new terminator movie and get Sam to talk about Cameron. free promotion and trying to manipulate fans into thinking that he is the chosen one. after all Cameron doesnt make mistake....they said.

we will never know what kind of action star he could become. IMO he doesnt want to be in big blockbuster movies. he got a lot of money for Avatar and he knew in januar 2010 that he would be in at least 2 more. in may 2010 he knew that in 2020 he would be a big millionaire.

That and the kid still hasn't really learn how to act yet, or at least not act well.

he doesnt need to learn how to act IMO. 80% of actors in hollywood and on TV dont know how to act. all of them have the same facial expressions . why must Jaden know?

with Jaden its like when we were young. '' dad i would like to learn karate. dad i would like to learn how to surf''. in the Smith family the kids ask the dad to be a movie star and to be a pop star. thats why he will fail.

i dont care about him. i am angry because i get less Will Smith movies.

I would say you're only right about maybe 40%-50% 80% is really pushing it.

@DA_To this day, I'm ****ing grateful that Marvel Stuidos more or less left Shane Black alone to make the movie he wanted on Iron Man 3. And I guess that's due to Robert Downey jr.'s star power. After the dissapointment of Iron Man 2 he probably made sure they wouldn't tinker with the director's vision this time around. THANK. EFFIN'. GOD.

IM3 is by far my least favorite marvel ( in fact almost least of ANY superhero) movie so I'll disagree. I cannot express how disappointed and angry I was when I saw that film.

I take it you never got a chance to watch Stay Hungry, the film he won a Golden Globe for best new actor.

I think people liked Arnold because of his presence and unbeatable charisma. That's the difference between him and a guy like Jason Mamoa. Being physically is not enough.

Arnold's always had the best charisma of any action star imo, it's what made him an unbeatable bodybuilding champion and a top box office star for many years, he had something that no one else could touch for a very long time.

Yup. Im an intuitive person and I can kinda tell when someone isn't the up to it.

Though I was wrong with Channan Tatum. The key to his success was that he befriended and worked with the right people. (Soderbergh, Lord/Miller)
