I'll say that I found Momoa's Conan fairly likable. Seemed like a guy who enjoyed having a good time.

As Conan should be:

...anyway, I have a feeling that as Aquaman, we might see traits of how Momoa could have been an even better Conan with a more caring production.

I really liked the Mamoa Conan, especially him never being a child slave or Viking Spartacus. He had the gravitas to selll the character. I think if the film had a more tribal soundtrack and didn't have the Rose McGowen silly witch character, it would have resonated more.

The Arnold Conan films are cool and have a great deal of memories and nostalgia attached, but have as much to do with REH's Conan as the Bixby/ Ferrigno Hulk show had to do with the real Hulk in the comics.

I hope one day we get a really decent adoption. I may be in a nursing home when it happens, though. Hell, Mamoa can play Conan again.

Reek and I both agree Mel Gibson would direct the absolute hell out of this. Paul Verhoeven would be a good second choice and Neil Marshall as an outside choice (Because I fancast him for every directorial job).
