Breacher's family was murdered by the cartel years before. In the original ending, it's revealed that he blames his team for it and masterminded their deaths. Olivia Williams' character becomes the de-facto protagonist and kills Breacher in the end.

In the new ending, Mireille Enos' character is behind everything, having sold out her team in exchange for a share of the money the cartel is after. Breacher kills her, and then tracks down his family's murderers and engages them in a shootout, where they are all killed, but Breacher himself is fatally wounded by a stray bullet and dies while smoking one last cigar.

Those endings both sound awesome. Hopefully they're both on the Blu Ray.

I really hope this movie does well at the box office, Arnold needs another hit on his resume and very soon. I know that Escape Plan didn't do well here in the states but it did do very well internationally and is #1 right now on home video, I'd like to see Arnie's career back on track, and this looks really badass.
