Well there's a storyline coming up which may give Buster a hand up in your estimations, but I'll be honest, while he definitely had some funny/quotable bits, I never particularly warmed up to Tobias, either.

Finished season 4, GM punching out Michael was justified to me. Not sure I like how meta the show is becoming or that it seemed George Sr.'s story was just a lengthy Transparent joke. Did AD come up with the wall before Trump or am I misremembering?

Yes, they did. S4 was released well before Trump was a candidate for anything. And yeah, George Sr.'s stuff was definitely the weakest in S4, imo.

Also, when you get a chance, you should do a re-watch. The foreshadowing is a whole other layer of jokes in this show, and there's a ton of it. In a way, it's less "foreshadowing" and more "call-forwards" - punchlines to jokes that haven't been setup yet.

I probably will. I heard there's another cut and the one I watched is the Remix. I'm digging the friendship/romance/confused feelings between GOB and Tony Wonder. Tobias's story was quite dark, but yes I laughed when he blue himself again and got caught on Not To Catch a Predator. I was surprised they refrained from another gay joke with blue Tobias in a wig and Lindsay's face blindness boyfriend.

In Season 5, I'm shocked that they're actually giving Lindsay something else besides failing to find another man or failing to salvage her marriage with Tobias. Even if it is a unopposed puppet political campaign with Lucille at the strings. Glad they're keeping up with Gob/Tony. Also poor Buster.

Geez, I barely remember S5 already, as I didn't even know what you were talking about for a second there. Totally forgot about that cement incident. But yeah, it doesn't look good for him.

Season 5 is mostly forgettable. Maeby posing as a 70 year old retiree and Murphy Brown were okay, not great. The lack of Buster and Lindsay was very obvious. Michael is more likeable in this season. Dislike the Rebel subplot. I'd rather see Fake Block actually become real or George Michael sells the company to Search/Google to prevent him from releasing it.

The only storyline I recall actually enjoying was Maeby turning into an old woman. And the Howard family. Everything else has pretty much already left my brain, which makes me sad.

That was the final appearance of Rance Howard since he passed away before the episodes were released.

I spoke too soon. It looks like Portia De Rossi isn't even in the same room for filming.

She actually retired from acting some time ago, but she did do some scenes in season 5 as a favor. (That's why she's barely in it)

So if we somehow would get a sixth season, it would probably be without Lindsay... I'm not sure if I want that. She's not my favorite character, but I love her interactions with Tobias and Lucille. I do miss that in season 5 (part 1)

Yeah. Netflix even said it was coming in the later half of 2018, and we’re in December.

I think it will eventually just show up one day with no announcement beforehand... kind off like what they do with their smaller (or crappy) projects on Netflix
