Gears of War was easily one of the finest playable demos at E3, besting even Nintendo's heavyweights such as Zelda and Mario (but you'll never see any Nintendophiles admit that). That demonstration by Cliffy B during Microsoft's Press Conference had me stunned with amazement. What seemed so drastically different in the game since last we saw it is that the action now appears to be a lot more intense - the camerawork and the weapon effects (both visual and audio) have been seriously beefed up. Everything just had a lot more punch to it. Even while watching that demo, you could almost feel the visceral heat of combat, the adrenaline rush of being engaged in tactical but furious gunfights and that chainsaw - Oh, how I love thee. And even before Marcus finished gutting that Locust in half, I was sold.

Congrats, artist71. Though the verdict on the final game is still a ways off, your title made one hell of an impression at E3. The IGN and Gamespy editors are still going ga-ga over those multiplayer sessions. So far, all signs point to your game being nothing short of drop-dead awesome. Here's hoping you guys really nail this one.

Anyways your game looks amazing and it looks really fun so congrats on Gears of War I hope its a huge success for you guys because it seems like you guys are putting a lot of time into it. However sadly I'm not getting Gears of War Because i'm getting a PS3 and getting RESISTANCE FALL OF MAN lol sorry guys I had to do it.

I don't know if you know this though but Insomniac gave you guys some mad props on Gears of War and they said they can't wait to play it. Sorry to ask to but what is the story of Gears of War? I've been trying to figure it out and I can't find it anywhere?

Thanks for saying Gears looks fun...I am really glad it is. I just didn't want it to be a "good graphics" game...and so far it is really fun.

I did not know the Insomniac guys gave us props...Thats huge...those guys are the best!

Its does not hurt my feelings that you are going to get the PS3 game....but that PS3 sure is expensive...but I am sure it will be a great system anyway.

My Predication: In a couple of years people won't care that the PS3 was so expensive....the price will drop and the PS3 and 360 will both have bad ass games. Nintendo will still keep making super fun games and will still be going strong.

Dude I heared Gears of War is being released on July 7 2006? Gears of War does have some pretty tight graphics and the gameplay looks fun. I'm sorry about not getting your game artist71 but still congrats on it.

I'm glad I could tell you about getting props from Insomniac. They said that they can't wait to play your game and kill some of the Locoust they said it looked like a very original game props on that dude.

They said that in an interview when they were asked what they thought of the competition like Gears of War and Halo 3 and they went to great extent to say how your game looks awesome. CONGRATS.

But now I have a question, what do you think of Resistance Fall of Man?

I'll be getting a PS3 eventually of course, but it'll be for games that might actually be good such as MGS4, Gran Turismo, Final Fantasy, God of War, Virtua Fighter, Devil May Cry...there are far too many great titles in development for the PS3 platform for me to not waste my money on mundane FPS feces like Resistance. :

Look bud, we all have our choices from what's coming in the future, games that we are super-excited about but you don't see us playing said game's crazy ****e on message boards and annoying the heck out of everybody. I'm pretty sure you know the reasons as to why so many people can't stand evangelists. The same principle applies here as well.
