IMO the only way the deleted scenes take away from the theatrical cut is if none of the issues are either addressed or resolved in the sequel. For example if Ratha appears in the sequel and he continues to be a part of Norman's doings then the deleted sewer scene wouldn't be of service to ASM.

And if Ratha isn't even used...it will just be a loose plot hole that could've easily been tied up and people will ask why Dr. Ratha was even used with that deleted scene of Ratha dying not even being in the first film's theatrical cut.

I'm not denying that Anno. At this point, the deleted scene helps out ASM greatly but if things are done differently in the sequel then those scenes were cut for a good reason. I was angry initially upon viewing that lab sewer scene but now I see it from another angle. As long as things are patched up in the next film there's nothing wrong with ASM's theatrical cut. That's all I'm trying to say.

Yah, I get what you're saying, but I'm assuming these scenes are not being used because of some kind of different origin for Spidey and that would end up messing up the character of Ratha if they only took out certain scenes to not move forward on a different kind of origin and they just don't bring Ratha back. I hope it doesn't happen, but it's still a possibility on the characters not being re-used.

Same here my man.

And one of the twists is that Peter could simply let him go, just sayin'.
If the writers are foolish enough

Hating her/ignoring her? Yah...that's not gonna happen when a girl is actually talking to Peter, take for example at the beginning of TAS-M.

Mary Jane would most likely just be a friend, but there's always a chance she could get herself in between Peter and Gwen.
I would like it to be that way,MJ being Gwen's friend who Peter hates because of her supposed Party girl and arrogant attitude,Gwen's death brings them together and he learns about her deeper side and starts to like her
MJ also matures and changes herself from a selfish ***** to the self-sacrificing woman(Instead of the other way around like we saw in Raimi's version)

None of that even matters. There was always going to be a sequel anyways, so the film still had to move on and in this case, at the very end, Peter and Gwen got back together.
And Gwen dies at the end of #2 or begining of #3 and he learns the importance of Stacy's words.Perfect
You will say now that 'Maybe she wont die?'
I say she will, and thats because I read some reports that Woodley has been signed and she will have a small role in #2 and a major role in #3,What does that tell ya? It screams TDOGS to me

And you don't think they would be? Hah.

Peter is not going to be hating Mary Jane, lol. That would be even more foolish than Peter letting Uncle Ben's killer go because they need to build up a friendship, not using some friction in a sequel when it's not necessary.

And yet none of that adds to anyone's point that the ending of this film didn't need to happen when Gwen won't even die until the third installment.

If anyone is interested in watching the Second Screen App videos, I'm uploading it to YouTube.

If they are that foolish, they might aswell make MJ bisexual!

Not exactly hating per se,but taking her as an arrogant girl with no heart
Read the comic strip posted in another thread of Peter dismissing her when she comes to him after Gwen dies.Thats exactly how I want their relationship to progress.Peter learning she has a heart after Gwen's death

It needed to happen if Gwen was gonna die anywhere in the trilogy, doesnt matter if its the second film or third

What do you mean?

that if Ben send him that message when Peter runs away angry , it would´ve made more sense than send because he was late to pick up May

Whats so great about that scene?
Because , its better than swinging for like half second

Wait,You are confused here
The voice mail is indeed sent when Peter runs away pissed off not when he is late in picking up Aunt May
The gif just shows him rejecting the call

Maybe but still not something to me amazed at
BTW where did you get the Gif from? Is there a video of those scenes

Great scene? I certainly don't think so. It does little to nothing to improve upon what was, in every other scene, about showing how much Peter and Gwen care for one another. It's just another tender moment between the two with no dialogue and imo it's better to leave certain things to imagination rather than constantly beating the viewers over the head with "Peter and Gwen love each other." Their 'date' with Gwen briefly shown swinging with Peter was plenty enough to give you the impression that they had a fun, intimate moment. Why do people constantly feel the need to see every single little detail? I don't get it. IMO the end of that scene showing Pete and Gwen swinging left them on a high note and showing that additional footage would have dragged it out and made it boring.

I agree.

Because they need to be spoon fed every single thing, step by step, to allow someone else to do their thinking for them. Even though one is seeing Spider-Man being punched by a giant Sandman, strangled by Venom, the audience must be told..."This could be the end of Spider-Man." We're unfortunately programmed to not think for ourselves, that's why we run to Rotten Tomatoes website, to tell us whether we should like a movie, how much we should like it, or when we should hate it. Sad, but true.
