Is this movie the most under ratied CBM ever? I think it is it is really good and people act liked it is terable I don't get how this movie is any lower then an 80 on RT and I don't get the capmy stuff. This movie is less cheesy then any other spider man movie.

I thought it was great. Sure certain things didn't fit but most of those elements weren't in the movie long.

It's not underrated. It's rated just fine, because the movie itself is riddled with issues.

I wouldn't say it's underrated really. There are still a lot of people that love the hell out of this movie, including me.

Tbh this is pretty subjective. There are a lot of people who loved it. GA liked it....and a lot people here liked it. I hate when the people that dislike the movie act like everyone else dislikes it too. There are millions of people in the world. Unless you surveyed EVERY single one of them it's pretty difficult to say.

I thought it sucked. Except for Paul Giamatti who was hilarious.

Electro was passable but Green Goblin felt tacked on (worse than Venom, honestly) and everything involving Peter and Gwen was horrible.

That scene with the 8 year old kid at the end was the schmaltziest schmaltz that ever schmaltzed.

The most underrated CBM remains Watchmen, probably. Or maybe The Wolverine, since it was really good but a lot of people ignored it thinking it would suck.

EDIT: Also it's technically not a CBM but Chronicle was also mostly ignored, despite being very, very good.

Personally I think it's the most under ratied movie ever. The whole time watching it I was thinking "Godfather" . That scene where he pulled down Giamattis pants exposing his underwear was as expertly written and acted as the scene where Michael guns down Sollozzo.

I actually think it is worse than Spider-Man 3, but then again I was a fan of the corny Beatnik Peter parts, and I feel the Green Goblin appearance in this movie is even more tacked on than Venom in Spider-Man 3.

If this movie had had Dane Dehaan take a bite of pie while saying, "So good." I might have given it a pass, but it didn't, so...

Yeah, I was struggling to categorize him, beatnik seemed the most accurate label. I wanted to say zoot-suiter but he wears a black suit. He's clearly been time-warped into the 1940s Jazz scene via the nefarious doings of the symbiote. You expect the Peter Gunn theme to start playing.
