Yea, you are probably right. I just know how cautious i was when it came to this game as to not let myslef discover the storyline.

Awesome doesnt do this game justice(imo). Iv never experienced anything like this. This for me, is easily the best experience iv ever had in gaming.

make sure you pick up Uncharted and Warhawk would also make a great choice if you want a great multiplayer experience

Those two are in my top 5 to choose from...I'll buy one this year (hopefully) and then after the holidays save up for some more. Uncharted looks nice and Warhawk does too, although I thought that was both multiplayer and singler player. Also, Call of Duty 4 looks awesome as well.

nope Warhawk is only multiplayer. They canned the single player aspect early on during development. I was skeptical at first but I was impressed once I played it. Its really alot of fun

After 8+ hours, im onto my 4th assassination and i still feel this is one of the best games i have ever sat down to play. Just moving around the rooftops via the freerunning is probably the most fun iv had in a video game.
I think the combat is the best sword to sword combat iv ever come across(that short blade is AMAZING to wield), and as for the dumb, attack one at a time, AI, i dont really see it. I think they are actually pretty smart. They wait for YOU to start the attack and then they try to find an opening. It then becomes who can exploit the smallest opening first, i just love it. There is repetition in the investigations but it has not hindered the game AT ALL, everything else about the game is so perfect and so much fun that i dont notice it. This game is everything and more that i thought it would be.

I guess the dev's wanted to give you a chance to surrvive. I mean if the knights did what you said then there is no way youd walk out of a fight. I mean what you see in the game is no different than what you see in the movies, afterall this is fiction. But i have found the enemies to be quite cunning. There has been countless times when the moment i start an attack on one enemy one of the others takes a swipe at by back(only to have me counter it in the coolest way possible). I think the combat is just amazing. Now there are sometimes when the enemy AI will just really leave you scratching your head, but its rare that its during combat.

In my opinion, yea dude, its that good. The visuals, controls, sound and story have all come together to create an incredible experience. I'm having an absolute blast playing it.

Yea. Like when you first become surrounded they dont just rush you, i mean after all you are a bad ass assassin and they realize this, so they'll wait for you to make a move. Its all about exploiting the enemies weakness and they'll do the same to you.

After playing Assasins Creed for a few hours straight there is very little to complain about. The only real issues to be annoyed of is the same combat over & over again & the fact that the cities are so big & there are so many buildings & so many people around you you can barely do anything but run around & climb buildings. I would think these would be easily fixed for the sequels everything else is just perfect. Its just a weeeeeeeee little bit limited with what you can do. Everything else is awesome & it is still a very enjoyable game & there is very little to whine about this game. Reviewers will be reviewers I guess.

I was pleased that it arrived this morning like it should on the day of release (UK before anyone says it's been out for days) and I've played it for a little while already and the game is pretty good, just need to play it a little more

I have to say this game went above my expectations, i expected it to be a great game but not this great. A funny thing though while playing... i tried to climb this wall but i accidently kicked off it and fell off and died going down the cliff lol.

Quick side note for those that dont already know, but there is a scene after the credits roll, so when you beat the game, make sure you stick around until the last credit rolls.

Second assassination... by accident LOL. These nutcases kept pushing me into guards and all the guards went after me...So I fought them all lol. And when I counterattacked it was actually the dude I was supposed to assassinate. All by accident. I love the guards chasing me when after each assassination. Sooo much fun...

The AI isn't really that dumb. They can be pretty tricky to beat/escape. I suck at stealth though, I've done 3 assassinations so far and haven't been able to kill them without them seeing me first.

Haha, i think my first few assassinations where done without alert, the last few iv completed however, thats a different story.

One thing that I think is going to end up driving me crazy at the end is finding all of the Templars and flags...those things are EVERYWHERE! I just KNOW I'm going to find myself with 1 more flag to get and I won't be able to find it. lol

Yea i came into the game thinking there were only like 60 of em. Yea well theres wayyy more than 60...

I think I'll try to do the Templars, but the flags are out of the question. Especially when there's nothing to gain from it. I spent too much time in GTA finding hidden packages and what not.

Yea, ill probably fall in the same boat. Im deff gonna attempt to assassinate all the Templars but the flags, well ill get as many as i come across.
