Their movements in those rigs have a mechanical purpose and are no different from using levers and wheels to move the servos which in turn move the machine. The use of two pilots and that bridge stuff is pretty stupid however.
In the case if the animus there is no sensible reason for him to be moving around at all. He isnt moving a physical machine. He is experiencing a memory by way of his brain and a computer. Think of it like a dream. When we dream do we need to act out the motions to dream that we are running, jumping, walking etc? Him simply lying their thinking about the act of running and jumping should be enough for the animus. It is in the games, but I guess this animus in the film is a ****** alpha build.

I don't know.... seeing some of these initial reviews from Passengers (granted, reviews are still only just coming in, but it's started out low on RT - it's at 24% with 13 rotten 4 fresh) - it might not be the behemoth of competition for AC that some have feared (though I could acknowledge that could change...and - as ever - there's no telling whether the general audience will agree with critics or not)I had thought that the 12/21 release date which is very significant for those familiar with the game was intentional, but I think now it's nothing more than an afterthought, trying to bury this film in what will be a huge weekend for Rogue One, and between that and when Passengers releases will die a quick death Ezio style. Requiescat in Pace.

This happens with pretty much all major blockbusters. They open up the rating pretty much as soon as the advanced screenings have occurred. So there are *some* (though certainly not the majority) of those IMDb ratings that could be legitimate. It's strange that this movie is being released on Wednesday. I still plan to see it but I don't know when because it's Xmas week. My last google search returned positive feedback for the movie; but some of it was strange like IMDB having a 9 rating and the movie isn't even out. Also read that the studio is gearing up for a trilogy.

It is probably being released on Wednesday because movie theaters are closed on Christmas
