Well, I'm assuming that Scott would get blown up or be angsty again. Otherwise, sure, have him lead. But I'd want Beast as a solid second-in-command.

Clint's either going to be lounging about with his longbow out, or him and Mockingbird are gonna get freaky.

One of the reasons I loved X-Men Evolution. Wolverine wasn't pushed into the damn focus. If they were ever to make a new cartoon, Wolverine should be treated like Hulk in this cartoon. Not the main focus, gets the job sometimes done when no one else can and occasionally pisses off for an Episode or two.

One of the reasons I loved X-Men Evolution. Wolverine wasn't pushed into the damn focus. If they were ever to make a new cartoon, Wolverine should be treated like Hulk in this cartoon. Not the main focus, gets the job sometimes done when no one else can and occasionally pisses off for an Episode or two.

Screentime notwithstanding, the idea of Wolverine as a teacher to Scott and Jean was almost insulting to me. That's one of the reasons I never even watched more than a couple of episodes of Evolution.

i dunno, it's not like he was teaching them astronomy, he was the combat training teacher. i can deal with an adult wolverine teaching them combat strategy. and it's not like that lasted very long either, they were out and the new mutants were in as the students for the most part in season 2

It wasn't that bad. He was responsible for battle practice and all that nonsense. And one time when lead the team and had a different idea of how to do things, Scott and the others pretty much said "F**k you." At least Evolution Scott had more balls than WATXM Scott.

I love the cartoon. Evolution Rogue is probably my most favorite version of her. Because they show how Rogue can be badass, without having flight, superstrength and invulnerability as default powers.

I miss the days Rogue had flight, super-strength, and invulnerability as default powers. I happened to like her quite a lot back then. Now? Not so much.

You should try to watch it again. It's definitely one of the better X-Men cartoon. And really, other than some combat practice, Wolverine doesn't teach them any other ****.

I don't know, I found rogue to be a whiny b***h on that show. Spike too. Everybody else was okay. It didn't really get good until the end of season 2 anyway.
