The Avengers Avengers Merchandise

popped into toys R us today, they did have an avengers section, a very small selection though, so I dont know if they're waiting for more or what. Are the Hasbro figures any good? I skimped out on the Cap America one as I think the Marvel Select one looks better in terms of quality. Also...no Loki :(
the Details are great IMO. BUT the 3 3/4 figures for the most part don't bend or twist in the torso. Seems like the only one that does is the Hulk

Got these pillows today. One for me, one for my son.

My spouse doesn't want that I take mine in our bed. I wonder why. :o:cwink:

That is just flat out awesome! Great idea and classy presentation!!!!!!!

My damn bookstore put a sticker on the cover and peeling it off destroyed the Widows knuckles...:csad:

I don't know if anyone has posted this yet, but there is a Marvel line of pet apparel and toys at Petsmart. I discovered this while shopping for a flea & tick shampoo for my cat, who decided to take an incredible journey down a storm drain tonight. They don't have any cat-sized clothes but kitty weighs 20 lbs. so a dog shirt will fit him. :awesome:

Kitty weighs 20 lbs??!! LOL. Sounds like Garfield.

Those are pretty cool. I think I may try to pick up a Cap and a Thor for my pup.

Has there been any more info released about the Avengers 3D glass? I had actually forgotten about them untill the other day and haven't been able to find anything other than the same info from when they where first released.

As for Avengers merchandise I picked up the Comic Series Thor. I probaly would have bought more Avengers figures by now if new G.I. Joe figures hadn't poped up in my area at the same time as the Avengers figures did.

Ah Thanks! yeah they also had the bigger Hasbro figures but it didn't look like you could really "pose" them and yeah your right the smaller ones do seem to be more detailed.

Yeah there's a 8" set that was only in Europe for the Thor movie. I liked the details on them but we never saw them here.
The Avengers 8" set seems to be the Prime four Thor, Cap, Iron man and Hulk not Hawkeye or Widow. :(

I'm so excited about those avengers clothing items. Any word on em?

Besides the images and availability that came out already:

... what other info would there be? They're just 3D glasses.

I hope them 3D glasses are available in the UK. Depending on if they're not expensive, I would like to collect them, The Iron Man and Thor one's especially.

I was just wondering if they had released an actual price(which seems to be $5). Or will be $5 on top of the 3D ticket price or just the 3D ticket plus an extra $2. I probaly should have worded my question differently. Thanks for the info because I hadn't read the Avengers midnight screening/MSU marathon news or seen that artical. I know they're gonna do it but I did pay any attention because there are no AMC theaters in my area.

What should I buy? I've been collecting some of the 3 inch figures since Iron Man 2, but the new 3 inch figures look alittle dissapointing. I've been thinking about getting the 6 inch ones, but how many characters of those are they doing? WHat do you guys think?

Get the small ones to go with your iron man 2 ones. Theyre better in hand

I have more than the IM2 figures, such as the new Captaim American ones, and in comparision these new Avengers figures look kinda cheap. Are they not so bad in person?

Honestly I wouldn't waste money on em (I think they'll be sold for $5 extra on top of regular 3D ticket pricing), but that's just me not being a fan of Real 3D's in house glasses which are really cheap looking and easily breakable. If Look3D or another company had made em I'd probably feel differently, but they'd probably look differently as well

Regardless, here are a few more pics:

No they arent so bad. The sculpts are cleaner and more attractive I'd say. Though they do lack in some articulation, they still pose really well.

Those film cells are damn cool. I have a few from other movies but I've never seen them with "backlight". How much money is Avengers going to end up costing me???????????????????????/

Yeah those don't look so hot and add in the fact that they might be $5 on top of the 3D ticket I might pass.

I think the Thor Avengers movie figure looks way better than the Thor from the Thor movie figures. Unless less articulation bothers you (which it doesn't me) then I say buy them. I'll probaly buy the movie series figures but I don't know about the Comic or concept figures other than the Thor I've already bought.

On a side note I did pick up the Marvel Legends: Steve Rogers with the clear sheild.
