Anyone else find it weird that there was no 7-11 slurpee cups or Burger King promotion with this? I mean most of the other marvel movies have had 7-11 slurpee cups and Burger King promotions ( expect for cap).

Anyway, I looking forward to picking up the behind the scenes/ art book tommorow. Who else is planning on picking it up?

Same here on all accounts. Check AMC for cups though. Dipson had one, and I don't think it's that big of a chain, so I'm betting AMC might too like they did with 'Wrath of the Titans.' It is incredibly odd, especially the no kid's meal toy thing thought for sure they would do something like that. I know X-Men: First Class didn't either. But, just 'Avengers' seems like a movie kids, and fans, would have loved going to BK for.

Still getting six character all in that scale is pretty good. Problem is they are Wal-Mart only .

I actually see that as more of a good thing. It narrows down the search a bit. There are 4 Wal-Marts between the two cities I live in. So that makes my search for them a bit easier.

Outstanding figures they are. I can't wait to snatch em all up. Don't disappoint with Blackwidow and the Chitauri Hasbro.

See the figures have the stripe deco on the back and the back star. Don't know why they couldn't do this for the actual movie costume.

It comes out tommorow ( May 2nd) and I am planning on getting it then. I will do a quick look over before I decide to buy it though to be sure it's worth the 31 dollar price tag.

While I concede that the 6 inch figures look FAR better, there's no way I could afford all of them. Plus with the 3 inch we get BW and Loki's army and more. Still while I think the Cap and IM figures are of a lesser quality than the Thor an Cap line figures, they are not that bad. Hulk on the other nad looks AWFUL. I'm getting the 6 inch Hulk for sure.

Was Widow in a six pack of Diet? They had sixes of diet at my Walmart but not Avengers cans. I want the Widow can but don't really want to buy a whole 12 pack.

I got a 12 pack last week from our mini mart in town and it was solid Cap.

My local Wal Mart has BW in the six pack. I have to admit I haven't checked to see if Hawkeye is with BW in the 6 packs because I'm not a Diet DP drinker and only got a 12 pack to get the BW and Hawkeye cans.

The closest I've seen to a solid 12 pack was the first one I got with 11 IM cans and 1 Cap. And I've yet to see the Avenger cans in Cherry DP and Diet Cherry DP.

Funny story on those Dr Pepper Cans. After searching 2 Wal-Marts, 2 Targets, and 1 Stop n shop To get them all (All but Thor lol) I then come home to find out, on the back they mention which cases you'll find which character. Like i posted earlier today, i wasn't sure if that fact matter'd.. apparently it does

Why would Hasbro not make a Black Widow figure? Why in the world a Walmart exclusive? It is going to be hell trying to find them.

Its clear that Iron man and Thor are simple rehashes. Loki might be too, Im not sure if he had a release last year.

so really they only had to make 3-4 new figures. They didn't make a widow in fears of not selling well to little boys, simple as that.

Hasbro is absolutely terrible and I refuse to support them. I go Marvel Select as I focus more on actual SCULPT. Hasbros Cap is stunningly terrible.

This is SUPPOSED to be the release date for The Art of The Avengers .
I had to wait a couple of weeks later than the release date for the Thor book last year.
So, you never know.
