It was and it was terrible.
I meant a newer one.

If I was Marvel the slate would look like this:
2008 - Punisher 2, Iron Man, Incredible Hulk
2009 - Ghost Rider 2, FF3, Magneto, Luke Cage
2010 - Wolverine, Thor, Spider-man 4, Iron Man 2, Incredible Hulk 2
2011 - Luke Cage 2, Captain America, Silver Surfer, Dr. Strange, Deadpool
2012 - Black Panther, Namor, Thor 2, Iron Man 3, Wolverine 2, Incredible Hulk 3
2013 - Spider-man 5, Dr. Strange 2, Silver Surfer 2, Deadpool 2
2014 - Captain America 2, X-men reboot, Black Panther 2
Cap, Thor, Wolverine, X-Men, Spider-Man, Iron Man, Hulk - 1st Tier Priority
DD, Moon Knight, Deadpool, Black Panther, Punisher, Namor, Dr. Strange - 2nd Tier Priority
The rest are fillers.
Moon KNight is gonna be a tv series. And I don't consider Deadpool even 2nd tier. Luke Cage should be 2nd tier except for Singleton being attached which drags it below that IMO.
Also Namor is a 1st Tier property and it's gonna take time to get that one together but when it's done it'll be bigger and more epic than any Marvel film we've seen yet.
I've said for a while now that i think DC movies will dominate the market over the next 3-5 years, Marvel has been going downhill ever since Spidey 2 (the last truly good Marvel movie IMO, though i have yet to see GR). Batman Begins, V For Vendetta, and Superman Returns were all fantastic IMO, and i enjoyed Constantine as well, but i havent truly enjoyed a Marvel movie since Spidey 2. FF was below average, and Blade 3, X3 and Elektra were absolutely terrible IMO.
If they go ahead with Flash, Aquaman and Shazam, Marvel has nothing to worry about, and Superman Returns put me to sleep. Its funny because I was on the subway today and I was over hearing some guys talk about Superman Returns and one of them also said he fell asleep during the movie.
And did you notice Superman didn't have any lines as compared to the first films?
I think Flash could be a big hit for Marvel.
Bro, Flash is DC property.
Remember WB has some moron Directing the Flash. Its most likely going to end up a comedy and not have the serious tone David Goyer was going to give it. Its too bad.
And I agree, Superman Returns had a great idea, but man did they ruin it. I was actually upset because I loved the first 2.

x men doesn't need a reboot it just needs someone good who knows the characters and has a lot of ideas to put it right. Both singer and Ratner did not know who the characters were and didn't want to as long as they could mould them to fit the story they wanted to tell.As for the supposed 'fans' that wrote X3, as fans they should have known the other fans would be outraged at some of the decisions
