Bad Robot/Jonathan Nolan Bringing "Westworld" to HBO - Part 1

Zorro storyline coming to Westworld.

Can someone explain to what happened at the end of Season 2, because I'm f**king lost.

1 - Is Bernard alive? If I understand correctly - at the end when Dolores (in her new body) went to the real world she recreated Bernard in Arnold's old house. Yes?
2 - If that so, did she also recreate her old body? aka both Evan Rachel Wood and Jeffrey Wright will come back to their roles?
3 - What was all that with Ed Harris character at the end? IS he a host, is he in a loop as was Devos? What?

Please some explain to me that whole end episode!?

1. Yes, Bernard is alive.

2. They will both be in bodies that reflect the looks we have come to recognize. So yes, ERW and Jeffery Wright will be back.

3. The end scene with Ed Harris is the far flung future. Won't be relevant on next season.

Just saw this before Game of Thrones, yeah. Had a guess it was this since we knew Aaron Paul would be joining this season, but nice to get a first tease.

You can never go wrong with Floyd. And because it's Floyd, no need for a cover. :atp:

That trailer threw me off guard. I LOVE it, love the new setting, love the vibe. This is right up my alley. And will definitely help me forget the mess that was GoT S8.

Now I'll always think of Westworld when I hear Brain Damage just like I do Person of Interest and Welcome to the Machine.
I mean, I'd hope you already had a lot of things associated with those songs, but fine. :o

Loved that teaser! I had no idea Aaron Paul was going to be in this season (or if I did, I forgot). He should be a great addition to the cast. Also, love that the setup for this season looks totally different than what we've seen before.

“This is season is a little less of a guessing game and more of an experience with the hosts finally getting to meet their makers,” co-showrunner Jonathan Nolan says.

Giving their first interview about the new season, Nolan and fellow showrunner Lisa Joy describe a new iteration of the acclaimed HBO drama that’s a major departure in some respects from the first two seasons, where the rebelling android hosts were largely trapped in the Wild West theme park. At the end of season 2, Evan Rachel Wood’s vengeful Dolores (check out the new photo above) escaped the park and took the CPUs for several of her companions with her.

“I love shows that find a groove and hang with it for 100 episodes — that was never this show,” Nolan says. “We always wanted every season to find our characters in radically different circumstances. And with a cast this talented, watching the metamorphosis of all these characters is one of the most fun parts.”

I am really hankering for her to be the invisible woman.

I like what he’s saying. Part of the reason I felt S2 struggled was that it felt the need to force mystery into the plot to stay consistent with S1. I hope they can turn it around after how much last season lagged. I loved S1.

Glad theyve come to their senses. I'm fairly certain they were butt hurt about viewers figuring out the revelations of season 1 before the show told us so they made season 2 as convoluted as possible to confound viewers even more.
