I can wait as long as I have to wait but Hopkins and Harris better come back in s2. The setting is great, the concept is great, the script is great but these two are THE BEST.

Depends on who lives/dies by the end of this season...

Maeve is in the bar and she notices all the hosts have frozen and has the sense to pretend to be frozen when the recovery team comes for Clementine. It seems like she can only be "off" when she is killed, which is why she goaded that guy into "murdering" her so she could be sent back down to talk with the techs.

They are in a facility with armed guards, scalpels, and power tools. And countless full grown men. She can be shut down.

Yeah I get the vibe that Ford may only be a season one figure at least as a main character.

If not for the fact I'm not sure Hopkins actually wants to be part of a multi-season tv show?

The same can go for Harris as well.

I'm leaning towards thinking that the host uprising may be Ford's ne narrative and he is allowing this to happen

The problem with reporting her at this point is they are both screwed. They played along for far too long. Hell, both could even be host for all we know.

Her turning against him (perhaps manipulated by Ford) after he falls in love with her could do it, leading him to believe it was all an act on her part. Perhaps after he's given up completely on his outside life and thrown it away for her.

And it would completely emphasise that she doesn't think for herself (in William's eyes at least), which would explain why the MIB seemingly doesn't give a damn what he does to her.

I knew someone had to be a host in there and I wasn't sure who but [blackout]Bernard[/blackout] saying "what door?" was immediately a clue followed up directly with a confirmation. Now there is even more question as to how many others are hosts. I can't imagine there only being one, especially given how sophisticated they are now and how easily it can be slipped past even the sharpest of people in that place. [blackout]Theresa had no idea right up until Ford came down and revealed everything in a villain monologue before having Bernard kill her.[/blackout] That was surprising. I did not think it would be so abrupt like that. Though it is another confirmation that hosts can kill guests under certain circumstances.

My guess is that Ford killed Arnold because Arnold figured out Ford's plan. And Arnold wrote code to stop Ford in case he were killed. Ford's plan was to lure in and replace rich and powerful people with hosts. I'm guessing William (MiB) was lured there by his business partner who was replaced before. All to gain control of the board and whatever else he needed. Now William has been stuck in the park for 30 yrs and he's become hard and callous. Still looking for a way out. One that he knows exists. It's also likely a lot of the park's employees are hosts to hide what Ford is doing from management. Any problems are attributed to Arnold's legacy code. Arnold's code is one that allows the hosts self awareness,free will and the ability to not follow Ford's instructions.

Its kinda odd, I cant really find alot.. There was an HBO panel with the whole cast at the TCA Summer Press Tour.. and a Q&A with Lisa and Jonah at NY ComicCon.. but I cant dig up any footage of either of those.

.... but MIB hasn't been stuck in the park. He said he's been coming there for 30 years, not that he's been there 30 years. He's also said he's on vacation. And in an interview, they said he comes once a year to the park. How would those humans in the park (who tried to thank him for helping them via his foundation) know him unless he was a VIP in the outside world?

All the signs say he's a very, very rich businessman who comes there once a year.

My personal theory is that Arnold's "maze" is all about transferring the human consciousness into a host. I think Arnold's obsession with this came from that it may have been his son that died, as Ford said his life was marked by personal tragedy. Bernard may have been his attempt at transferring the human consciousness into a host and/or interference by Ford. It would make sense that if it was Arnold's son that died that he would be obsessed at bringing him back to life. The reason I think this may be feasible, there's a line that Ford says to Tommy before uploading the Wyatt backstory, that "like all great stories, one that is rooted in truth". Perhaps Ford uploaded Arnold's backstory to Bernard as a means of control. However there's a line where Ford talks about the medical technology can save anyone, the only question is that statement which seems to have been given in the most recent timeline, would it be true 35 years ago when the incident occurred regarding Arnold.

I'm torn on if the MIB is William or Logan. I've heard good theories on both, that Logan could be MIB and Tommy is William with a failed attempt at transferring his consciousness. There's several thematic events to suggest that William may be tommy, such as they both enter the park asleep on a train. They bump into the same person on the street. They both pick up the dropped can from Dolores on the street. It could be that Tommy's loop is actually a continuation of William's unfinished tale.

On the other hand there's a line that Logan says to William that "this place seduces everyone eventually, it will get to you too, and I can't ******* wait to meet that guy." this would suggest that William could become the person he despises the most....Logan.

The show throws you on so many loops that I can see it going in any number of directions.
