Bane only had venom for one story in canon (it just happened to be in the story that made him famous, so everyone associates him with it) before he kicked his addiction to it and became a more dangerous guy without a bunch of chemicals clouding his judgement, so I say leave the drug out of the story. He doesn't need it.

I can see them doing it all. Bane's look isn't INCREDIBLY out of place against what we've seen in the previous films in Nolan's universe.

Like Ferret said Venom is just basically a suped up steroid. And Bane's costume is nothing more than a guy wearing a Wrestling Mask, pretty sure that translates into Nolan's universe where there is bound to be wrestling.

Totally. I called Bane years ago and am stoked. Joker was the pinnacle of mental/psychological challenge for Bats, so they needed to switch gears to a physical foe rather than do a second rate joker.
