Barbarella or Sin City 2?

if Robert Rodriguez is supposed to be directing "Barbarella" for a 2008 release, how is he going to shoot "Sin City 2" next? with Robert's hands-on approach to filmmaking, where he does EVERYTHING, how give the two movies the time they need for a dual-2008 release?

. . . as long as the answer doesn't involve bumping "Sin City 2" back, i'm fine.

You know, if he shot Machete and Sin City 2 back to back, I'd be happy. We were supposed to have Sin City 2 like last summer or so but RR wanted Jolie. That whole time with him messing around with her trying to get her for Ava Lord was just a big waste of time. Especially now that she's taking a year off from acting.

Well, it's almost june, when they will be apparently filming. I'm interested in seeing how this all plays out (in other words, I'm not getting my hopes up for anything because I've been let down too many times in the past).

RR is making Barberella first,and Frank Miller is making The Spirit first,then they will make Sin City 2 next...Don't expect Sin City 2 till at least 2009...a year to make Barberella and a year to make Sin City 2 = 2009ish.

Sin City 2 Still on, But It Will Have to Wait

A few days ago, Michael Madsen was quoted saying that the poor performance of Grindhouse might affect whether Sin City 2 will be made. Not true, according to words from Frank Miller in a new interview at Rotten Tomatoes:

Of course, by stroke of coincidence we learned just before we sat down with Miller that Robert Rodriguez had been signed onto a remake of the classic sixties sex flick "Barbarella." So what of "Sin City 2"? Rumours swirl that the project has been stalled by the breakdown of Rodriguez' marriage. "Sin City 2 is still likely to happen," says Miller, "just not right away. The script is written and Robert and I are raring to go, but it looks like I'm going to be doing The Spirit first and Robert's going to be doing Barbarella first."

I was really looking forward to Sin City2.Like someone said, all that damn waiting on angelina for the Ava part and then all of a sudden it is now at least another years wait. I want to see SC2 ALOT more than the spirit (I still do want to see it, but not as much) and Barbarella.I mean the original was cheesy, pure cheese, in fact but Jane Fonda pulled it off.

Does anyone else here have that oh-so-sinking-feeling that Robert is once again going to be led-a-stray by his loins and **shudder** cast Rose McGowen as Barbarella? **shudder**
