Bat fan!!

I've always loved the character since before I can remember (because of the burton movies and BTAS when I was younger), but I've been a "Hardcore" fan for about 4 years.

since i saw my first batman film. batman returns. yet sadly when i went to see BB i thought it sucked. for i had been brainwashed by Tim Burton into believing that his films were the REAL batman story. that Joker really did kill his parents. so i didnt know wtf was going on in BB so after the film was over and the credits started rolling i yelled THAT SUCKED!!!!! but then when i went to see Revenge Of The Sith with my cousin (who's a big batman fan) he explained to me the TRUE Batman story. and so after going to see it a second time i saw the greatness of it. and was mezmerized by it.

when i saw batman 89 when i was a year old i was hooked i always hid when i seen the joker then when batman returns came out my grandparents took me and my cousin to it and we hid behind the seat when we seen the penguin Tim Burton gave me many a nightmare

Since I was about 3 and saw Batman Returns for the first time.

I was like 2 or 3, I never forgot the final scene in Batman and when Catwoman is born in BR.
I didn`t see them in a very long time, and they were really that striking for me.

You know, Tim Burton was first guy bought the dark in Batman just like in comics to the his movies without Michael Uslan and Tim Burton we wouldn’t have the dark in Dark Knight if up to WB in 1988 we would have West 60s show turned into a movie because that's how people thought of Batman that theme from 60s (no offence to West & Co that show was great in it's own right but I didn't like it)

Like I said Burton and Uslan bought great character where he belongs now Nolan, Goyer and Uslan making sure we fans and moviegoers get the Batman we love and know this is why I thank Tim Burton and Chris Nolan who are great directors I like their Batman movies and non-Batman movies. up:

On topic, I was 12 when I started liking Batman when Forever was released at the time I thought it was great movie.

ganstaman56 you been warned several times, you are now gone

B89 was the first movie going experience I can remember (I would've been about 6). I recall getting these plastic Batman cups at the theater, which I still own, and a large poster of Batman in front of the batmobile.

It's safe to say my appreciation started then, but could've been even sooner. Don't remember.

When i was 5 (1978). My Uncle gave me his Batman and Robin Mego dolls because i was always watching the 60's cartoon reruns and Superfriends every Saturday morning. About 2 years later he gave my first comic book out of a box of his. I loved the dark imagery and thats what always appealed to me. When i got older and started reading the comics on a regular basis and learning the history and origin of the character, i was hooked. Then in 1989 i was hit with total Batmania, and ive never looked back.

After seeing Batman 89 for the frist time as a child oh such good times :batman:

I was introduced from the reruns of the Adam West series circa '90 for the release of B89. Not long after, I moved up to B89 and I was a diehard ever since.

I remember liking Batman since I was born.
I watched the 60's reruns on TV and loved it.
But when I was ten years old, I was introduced to a Denny O'Neil / Neal Adams depiction and since that time I am hooked.

the tim burton b89 did it for me, i just loved everything about it, the darkness the charicters i was 11 (it was cert 12 in uk so i couldent see it) but ive been a batman fan since, i also saw bb 14 times in the cinema (ok im ready for you people to mock me):hq:

man i have been a batfan since i started watching the old TAS series. I was 5 when they came on.
