Batman: Arkham Knight - Part 1

Beside already included Harley and the Batmobile:
-dark and spooky atmosphere, similar to AA or even darker, nice change from street wars;
-Hush;
-Man-Bat;
-villain Catwoman - I want some Batman Returns badassness;
-more Freeze;
-MORE, I NEED MORE Harley;
-no freaking Joker, the guy needs a break;
-no Al Ghuls;
-really tired of Penguin, I hate the guy, hope he doesn't have much time in this.

Overall, I think, I'm open to just anything. Revealed stuff already blew me away.

She wasn't one in AC, why make her a villain suddenly?

Red Hood/Jason Todd - The OTHER big reason why this wouldn't work, besides the sliding timeline, is that he's never featured that much in the games. The most you get is one throwaway line that may not count. It may mean something for the comic book fans, but the reveal would fall flat for everyone else and would be a poor storytelling decision.

Thomas Wayne Jr./Owlman - Again, same as Todd. Not to mention that twist in the comics was stupid as all hell, so I'd be happy to never see it again.

Michael Lane/Azrael - He's never been an enemy of Batman, used as a tool at most. His conversations were also more of a warning than a threat.

If it is an original character, I expect it to be a descendant of Amadeus Arkham.

I was thinking RIP (especially since the Black Glove had an Easter Egg in AO,) but, anything's possible at this point. I wonder what is going to distinguish this variation of the Anti-Batman concept from the rest?

The biggest and best reason for Red hood/ Jason Todd and the phantazum (Andrea) not to be in this game are the purpose of them being there they're entire reason for showing up origin wise and being there would be to kill joker and he's not there cause he killed him self. so there's no reason them to show up also . and not reason for them the be against batman ether.

What about the father? They wanted to end it with style. Maybe that speech in the CG is a hint...

Things change.
While that's true. that's only if she becomes a pure killer like the others and there's no chance that will ever happen with Dc over seeing it. the only cat woman that be that is the golden ae version that wore a dress as her costume ( like in brave and the bold) and the from tv adam wast was in.

Sad times. But she can be a vandal, she can steal people. Engage against Bats. In BR she didn't kill anyone, except for Max, but it was a die for a die.

the most I can see of her is doing is in two capacity ether as a member of BOP ( likely hood not overly high) or her taking advantage of the situation and stealing from some crime lords and some other rich people if she not trying to leave town her self.

and I can till see Jason Jodd showing up in the Arkham verse but not now. Origins may be(if ever) just not this. It's not worth his time if he can't bump Joker off.

I even doubt she will appear in the game at all.

Other than that, I'm a little tired of her one-dimensional motives of stealing. I mean, c'mon... How much more do we need of this? Can't she be manipulated, forced into something, that goes against her selfish interests? Or maybe she can have a personal vendetta. If I remember correctly, she beaten a guy with a baseball bat into bloody porridge in New 52. That's what I want to see, if she gets a role in the new game.

Yeah, I don't recall Batman treating the Robins poorly in the games.

Apart from his usual ''I'm working this case alone'' stuff, when exactly did he treat them unfairly?

Quinn's Revenge. And I dunno, I'd call what he did to him in the games pretty poor.

It's not poor. You can tell he's kicking him out of Arkham City to keep him safe as well as he needed him in the City

Honestly, I think Arkham Knight is going to be a 100% original character simply because I believe Rocksteady would like to add something to the Batman mythology, which I'm perfectly fine with because frankly they've earned the right to contribute. I'm quite confident there will be no big revelation that it's some past character, I believe this is completely original.

Well they did add Quincy Sharp to the Batman mythology :oldrazz:

I'm thinking something more along the lines of a character that could be adapted into the mythology on all levels. If successful I can see an original character like Arkham Knight pulling a Harley Quinn and becoming a part of the Batman rogues gallery.

I know, I was just kidding since Sharp is the only character they have made up. Which speaks to how much these guys have stuck to the comics overall, even using more obscure characters like Aaron Cash.

But I have no problem with them making up a whole new character.

If that was their intention, then they shot themselves in the foot by making their villain into yet another "evil Batman" that composes a third of his Rogue's Gallery.
