I don't see shared universe in those films, some of them have sequels, other than that no connection story wise

Driving the Batmobile, Harvey actually gets to do stuff this time, and my personal favorite, no Joker. I'm one of the biggest Joker fans ever, but his lack of inclusion pleases me.

You don't see a shared universe in what films? Justice League War and Son of Batman are in the same universe/continuity. War was the beginning of the new connected DCAU.

Man, if we get to have costume packs like before AND alternate Batmobile's that look like some of our favorites (the Tumbler, Burtonmobile) then...wow. That would be one hell of a thing to see happen.

Not sure if having a new connected DCAU is the best idea. It kinda defeats the purpose of these DVD's in the first place. I know we're still getting one self-contained film per year, but still.

The original DCAU was an immense success. It changed superhero animation (and American cartoon animation in general) as we know it. This new DCAU will have a lot to live up to.

They feel like standalone movies, with no connection
Justice League movies since Flashpoint are a Flash movie and two sequels: War, and one on the way
