Yes, it does. And the Batmobile was clearly inspired by the Tumbler.

What are the odds that similar to the previous Arkham games in unlocking different batsuits, that we would be able to unlock different Batmobiles? That would be simply awesome It's a longshot sure, but being able to drive the '89 Batmobile in this game would be amazing, same with a Tumbler or the TAS version. We did get TAS & 60's Batman skins in the previous games, right?

That would be incredible for TAS Batmobile and Tumbler

There's definitely a big influence.

I think they took that element from what WB game did with the Origins suit which was much more TDK inspired, vs the original Arkham suits which were much more comic book inspired.

Not sure about the other film vehicles and the rights, etc, going on the lack of those costume skins in the past. But I think the BTAS and 60s Batmobiles could be locks. If they offer Batmobile skins, that is.

Oracle is hot. Riddler looks strange, but I can dig it. The one I want to see most is Scarecrow. He could have a completely different look. Remember he ditched his mask in Arkham City.

Yes it would have to be much more than just a skin, which is why i very much doubt that will be an option.

A skin is pretty much just a glorified paint job on a pre-set character model, the batmobiles vary in shape and size so much that wouldn't be possible.


You couldn't just do this for all the different batmobiles:
