wow that sucks for PC gamers but If I was them I stick with AA & AC in my opinion.

So sad I cried at this

when Bruce says "It's done, Gotham is safe Gordon:"Thanks" "Goodbye Jim" I was like "Gotham needs a Batman"

Well, unless they pre-ordered the game or bought it in the first couple of days, they are stuck with AA, AC, and AO. The problems with the PC version are so bad that Warner Bros. pulled the game from sale on Steam and in-store. You cannot currently buy AK on PC and likely won't be able to again until the Fall. I was lucky and heard about all of the problems before I even installed the game, so I used the new Steam refund system to get my money back on day one. This is likely to be a watershed moment for the gaming industry. PC game sales have surpassed console sales and the Steam refund system means they can't count on pre-order revenues when they release bad ports.

I beleive them. This was the last game in the Arkham saga. They'll likely make another Batman game and that will probably be a reboot, not connected to the Arkham set of games

After reading this article, if Rocksteady were to do a separate Batman universe/reboot, this would be ideal...

Am I near the last of the lot to sneak up on a baddie with a Detective Mode Scanner and enjoy what happens when he figures out where you are? Cause, apparently, this is a thing.

Not just the dialogue, I also love Catwoman's model in Knight. That face is really cute.

Ivy and Quinn also looked much better than before.

today was trade in WB games for me. Got $72 for Batman and MKX

As for Batman, I apprehended 7 of the Most Wanted for the Knightfall protocol, only to do that and it tell me I need to get all of them to see the rest of it. Screw that crap. was how I felt when done.

That hurts the fans the most but I'm glad you refunded I would have done same thing.

Also played Harley DLC in AK I enjoyed it short but sweet I wish it was an hour long though
I love Harley's detective vision - you can read her mind sorta like a diary kept inside and the jack in the box. I loved rage mode where she goes real crazy

Yet to play Red Hood DLC though.

You must be joking? It is still in the same broken state as at release. An "interim" patch fixing some of the issues is supposedly coming in August, but it is all that has been promised so far. Leaked communications from retail store, EB Games, state that a full fix is coming in the Fall at the earliest.

I'm not a PC gamer so I've not been keeping up with it. I heard about the issue and that the PC gamers got their money back. Still, seems they're taking such a long time to fix the issues or even some of them. Poor PC folks.

That's too bad. I was hoping that given the severity of the problem and the major press the problem has been getting in gaming publication and on gaming news sites, many people would know the situation.

I'm not at all surprised it is taking this long. The PC version is a half-assed port outsourced to a third rate studio of 12 people. A lot of the game needs to be rebuilt. They are missing graphical features that are present on the console versions.

So a while back, we had a picture of the skins screen showing dozens of unlocked skins. But no one ever made a video, or full picture gallery show casing all the skins. What's up with that?

Yep. It could be a year before the fixed PC version comes out. Maybe sooner, but no anytime too soon. WB cant afford to release another broken PC version so it has to be pretty damn good and stable this time. I doubt they will rush it.

I guaran-damn-tee it that WB and Rocksteady never outsource to that stufio again. Hell, that studio might not get any work from the major devs and studios now. They pretty much showed everyone that they dont take their job seriously and cant be trusted.

That coudn't be further from the truth. Its my understanding that Rocksteady was teEh one that started work on the PC version. As it got near release, WB brought in Iron Galaxy Studios to finish up the work, while Rocksteady worked on polishing the console versions. They only had 8 weeks to do so and the team only has 12 people. I dont think they can be blamed too much for it considering they didnt start this and werent given enough time to complete it. Thats all on WB especially since they allegedly knew the PC version wasnt ready yet still released it

I wouldn't say never. They used them for the PC version of Arkham Origins and it was super buggy. When people kept reporting bugs, Warner Bros. put out a statement that no further patches would be done as the team was concentrating on the DLC. Most of the blame is on Warner Bros. Who hires a 12 person studio to do a port of a AAA title? Another Warner Bros title, Mortal Kombat X, also got a horrible PC port recently. There is a big pattern here.

IMHO, buck stops at WB Interactive and Rocksteady. They are in charge. It's their game.

Like youve been told repeatedly, they didnt do the PC version. A 3rd party studio did the PC version. All the PC version's problems are due to the ineptitude of the 3rd party studio. The only blame that can be layed at WBs feet is that they knowingly sold the PC version in that broken state rather than delaying the PC version. That is WB's fault. But the broken condition of the game was the 3rd party studio's fault. They were in charge of optimizing and building the PC version. They didnt do the job they were contracted to do.

So while browsing the PSN store I saw that that Batgirl DLC was only 7 bucks...this whole time I was holding back because I thought I read somewhere that it was 15. So I bought it.

Can't say it was a waste of money, but geez, it just barely manages to be worth 7 bucks. Barely. Took me barely an hour to beat it and was rewarded with the ****tiest of "final boss" fights ever. Plus, Batgirl is so weak. Seriously, she has like a quarter of Batman's abilities. I kept screwing up because I was trying to do things I could only do as Batman.

Really, really, disappointing. Not even a story to enjoy, either.

P.S. Does anyone else think Batgirl's running animation is the most awkward looking thing ever?? It feels so weird to look at.

I mean, it's too early to tell for sure, but it seems like the season pass really won't be worth it. The DLC (aside from the Batgirl DLC) looks like skins, and batmobiles you can only use on certain tracks. Hopefully I'm wrong, but it's looking like a lot of nothing.

They were the ones that passed it off to the third party. There is evidence that proves WB Games was aware of the problem and went ahead anyway. They are responsible at the end of the day.

I find it highly naive that you are giving Rocksteady a pass with this invisible wall of separation.

It's funny, I thought AK was going to be stacked with side quests and activities, but we all pretty much got it all done within a couple of days. I didn't think the map was as big as touted, either.

It was big enough for me. The vertical scale and depth of the environments were incredible. This is the first game I've played on PS4 that really felt like a "next-gen" game, something that couldn't exist on the previous generation. The near complete absence of loading screens was a testament to that as well.

Iv beaten the game twice now. Damn I'm ready for that DLC. I'd spend an extra 40 bux to get it all now.

Yeah only 12 people working on a game like this is crazy this is not the like 80's when the amount of people working on a game was much smaller lol.

I couldn't disagree more. I have yet to 100% the game has I am at 94% on normal with mostly riddle stuff left and still need to beat new game plus and the first thing I noticed playing the game was just how big the game is and just how good it looks. There have been only 3 games this gen so far that I have seen that I have really felt like looked like next gen and that is this game, nba 2k and drive club. The thing that hurts is no challenge mode because it would take some time to beat challenge maps and it was nice to flip back and forth between story mode, side missions and challenge maps now we cant do that.
