Batman: Arkham Knight

I won't lie, I don't see the point in a Suicide Squad game and to go one step further...

I think a Justice League video game is completely pointless.

Here's why. Video games are generally a one player experience. I mean think of all the characters in gaming.

Batman = Batman Arkham series
Marcus Fenix = Gears of War
Master Chief = Halo
Mario = Mario
Sonic
Link = Legend of Zelda
Samus = Metroid
Lara Croft = Tomb Raider
Snake/Big Boss/Raiden = Metal Gear Solid
Nathan Drake = Uncharted
Kratos = God of War
Ezio/Desmond = Assassin's Creed
Blazkowicz = Wolfenstein

And so many many more. Video games point blank aren't the best medium to tell a team based story unless you have like 4 player co-op or some form of co-op. Only game series that has told team based stories well at the moment is the Gears of War series.

While Marvel Ultimate Alliance was dope, who you played as had no baring on the story or changed the story or even factored into the story since all the cutscenes showcased Cap, Thor, Spidey, and Wolverine.

Games are better when you follow one character on his journey then a group on their journey.

I do feel if they want a new Batman game then a 2 player co-op/dual play of Batman and Robin in the game would be the best option but no more.

Maybe a Justice League game could be done like GTA V

I'd like to see Suicide Squad, which I think is pretty much a lock as one of them considering the tease in Origins and the fact WBM did the gun mechanics on Red Hood that can be brought over, playable Harley and playable Deathstroke, and Arkham Origins 2 with Batgirl and Dick Grayson Robin.

It will be if they keep it up.

keep what up? They havent shown any indication that this is a thing. In 4 core games, not once has there been a back to back annual release

I responded yesterday or so I thought I did, but my post didnt go through. Plenty of single player games have multiple playable characters. GTAV and Assassins Creed Syndicate are two recent examples. Going back further, DMC4, the Yakuza games, Sly Cooper, Legacy of Kain: Defiance, Resident Evil, you have the most RPGs, etc... Heck you mention Batman, but AC featured Catwoman alongside him and her role was much more substantial than the snippets of the various characters in AK. Even Spider-Man and Sonic games have featured multiple playables. I think its a copout to suggest a SS or JL game wouldnt work if it featured more than one playable characte

And MUA wasnt a character based story, so the intent was different. The genre wasnt even the same as the Arkham titles as that was a dungeon crawler action RPG. A game featuring 3-5 characters can allow for a tighter focus on story and character development than one with a roster of 20+. I dont think people need to see a SS or JL game with as many characters especially if its gameplay is more grounded and deep like the Arkham games

Assassins Creed wasn't annual either until after they started becoming very popular. It will happen sooner of later if everybody on here keeps asking for Origins 2.

AC became annual 3 years into the series existence and they are able to do that bc there are literally like a dozen studios working on the games. Only 2 studios have worked on the Arkham console games and its been around for 6 years. I really dont get why you are comparing them and suggesting that its heading in the same direction as AC when there's no evidence of that.

I feel like I'm the only one who doesn't give a rat's ass about the Suicide Squad. Maybe I just don't know them well enough to know how cool of a group it is but I have no interest in them, or with the movie coming out next year.

Then maybe you should give them a chance by getting to know them more than write a game or movie based on them off

I don't mind a Justice League or Suicide Squad game.

but I want my solo Superman game first d****t!!

Officially happening, alright cool

Well they are getting to do more of the DCU video game verse. 0but if you read the our take before the comments area. the author thinks it won't be " Batman Arkham: Origins 2" related cause of the split among fan's about it being good in any part of this series.

but they(WBM) are getting to do more. which is a good thing. So we'll see what project they are doing

We'll see, I already said that I am hoping for Justice League and/or Superman and if they do another batman, I really prefer WBM do their own original game!

Loved the Arkham games but am so over that universe now. I'm expecting one of the games to be Suicide Squad and that's fine as a spin-off but am just more interested in the other game already since I believe that one will be all new

I'm ok with a Batman beyound A Nightwing game or Suicide Squad.

it'll be an awesome miracle to have a Justice league game. not sure about superman right now. but like said we'll see. Hopefully they are given what Rock steady was privilege wise so they can do better.

oh here's a blast from the past video review

A Green Arrow game would be cool, or Suicide Squad, neither would require them to completely overhaul the overall way the game plays either. Though as far as DC superhero games go, what I'd really love is a Flash game.

damn I forgot about the flash. I guess it's cause I'm semi content with DCUO's version and thought it could stillbe good I thought they still wait since all other attempts were canceled. yeah I'd like to see it if they can pull it off.

^^what hate? We're talking about Origins right now. while we wait for knight's DLC.

I think they're just late to the party to put in their 2 cents on the game and it's criticisms.

oh he's newbie or just doesn't talk too often. cause that was just random.

Knights dlc is already here wtf are you talking about?
I played them are they rocked.

Loved how it ended. I love the idea of being able to end Bruce's story as Batman. Never understood the complaints of too much Batmobile. I've always wanted a gta style Batman game and thats what I got. I understand that you can't turn the other Batmobile's into battle mode because that car and mode are unique to this game and makes you keep using that Batmobile because that's what they want you to experience.
Love that I can drive around in multiple Batmobile's. The 66 tracks are gold. I aced the 3 stars and are now trying different Batmobile's in the 66 tracks.
I hope they make more prequel games to this Arkham series.

That's your response that all the criticisms are valid. No they aren't. Maybe some of the tank battles but not all.

This is the best Batman game yet. Absolute perfection.

Why would you say rose tinted glasses???
They form the perfect game quadrilgy for me. They don't have flaws. That's in the eye of the beholder. AK is the best Batman game yet. It never gets boring for me.

So people are pissed that I think this game is perfect but because some can't wrap their head around that thought believe I'm wrong. Most complaints come across a silly anyway. Fair enough if you don't go like something but to go into absolute detail into why you don't like something just comes across a silly. I've never been of that frame of mind when it comes to talking about something. I either enjoy it or don't. I love this site and come to it daily for years but I fear that I can't talk about things because If I like something or think its perfect I'm not listened to and it feels that if I complain or say I don't like something is when people do get listened to.

You shouldn't say the season pass was worth it because that's not what most people on here think. You will get crucified for going against the grain and enjoying things that other people hate.

No. Just because you can't use the other Batmobile's with battle mode doesn't mean its a problem. Those batmobiles were not designed for the use with battle mode. RS want you to use the batmobile they designed for their game. Their batmobile is unique to Arkham knight and designed for functions in their game. The other Batmobile's were designed by other people and battle mode is not designed for those. Using the other Batmobile's is like a reward for completing RS Arkham knight story mode.

I think they're just late to the party to put in their 2 cents on the game and it's criticisms.

Nope, just randomly dragging up an argument he already had.

lol I'm not on the subject sadly . if when you first posted here you had quoted the person that was complaining about the Dlc it would have been fine. cause this is why I was confuse but most use of currently were just talking the resent news about wB montreal. if you want to go back to the complaint fine but we're on something positive, and hope when more new details about the dlc comes out it'll be positive as well.
