Batman: Arkham Knight

That boss fight being a tank battle....that should have been a ****ing crime. How anyone thought that was a good idea, and that it's what fans wanted should have their mental stability evaluated. It's insane that thing went down, at all. Literally, one of the most dangerous people in that universe in hand to hand combat, and it goes down to a tank battle? Ridiculous.

I'm starting to think that Rocksteady just threw Deathstroke in after hearing that he was gonna be in Origins. They almost literally didn't have anything extra outside of recording dialog.

Sounds too amazing. So unfortunately, it's probably fake.

Oh, yes, please. Screw that Damian centric game, give us a sequel to origins.

I really want that to come true, I have very little interest in a Damian game, I'd still buy it, but an Origins sequel is what I really want. Not gonna get my hopes up though.

Literally sounds too good to be true.

Yeah, combination of being almost exactly what a lot of people are asking for, addressing issues with Knight, and way too much information for me to get excited by it.

I'm still waiting for a Batman game made similar to Splinter Cell, with photorealistic lighting mechanics allowing you to creep around in the dark and sneak up on people.

Please be true, only nitpick is Owlman, would rather have had Dent.

That poster confirmed the Damian game for late 2018 and he says this one is for late 2017
I just hope he doesn't get introuble you usually not allow to talk about that stuff unless it was already put out by the makers them selves . It 's like law suit offense (0 cause that's what it is) and can have him not working in the industry any more. (pretty much a burn notice) well that's on him .

Oh man, I hope that's true! Would rather have an Origins sequel than a game centered on Damian

Still wish that Suicide Squad game wasn't cancelled

from what it sounds like, both are happening or might be . but there isn't an "instead of." so if the sequel to origins does come to be just get that one. Cause it doesn't sound like there an " instead of" not right now any ways .

Yes, similar to the Origins and Knight siuation. It all boils down to whether he was right or not. Does sound fake even if I like what he says, if true not sure how to feel about WB games simultaneously working on two Batman games .

we'll just have to see if this pan out to be true. its rumor doe now, we'll just have to wait.

It does sound pretty cool, but im not sure if its true.
But we didnt thought that about the suicide squad game as the guy on reddit first talked about it...so who knows.

It would be really cool it there would be 2 arkham games in the making but i doubt it.
With this one i would be down so freaking much...i love the court of owls.

We will see, what was the date WBM wanted us to mark...march 8?

I'll take that Damian Wayne Arkham Beyond game thanks.

It's a departure from the tried and true and you don't have to throw everything that came before it away. Batman era rogues meshed in with Beyond era rogues in a futuristic setting featuring a crusty old Bruce Wayne beating his son Damian into fighting shape with a cane as he takes up the Mantle of Batman? Sign me up.

And let's not pretend like Bruce and Talia weren't completely in love albeit at odds in the Arkham series. Damian is the logical progression to that.

But to jump straight from Arkham Knight to the distant future where Damian is already an adult? Having not been mentioned once in any of the prior games?

Might be a hard pill for casual players to swallow. But I suppose a lot of that boils down to execution.

I get that. I would still prefer it to yet another Batman game. Damian!Bats is enough of a departure to have me intrigued. And it doesn't have to be the distant future. It could be TDKR Bruce, but instead of coming out of retirement he prepares his son to take his place. Set it 10-15 years after Arkham Knight.

Now that I think about it you could have a prologue where you play as Batman. Bruce gets a video from Talia revealing they have a son and since both she and her father are presumably dead she'd prefer it if he were raised by Bruce than the League of Assassins. Batman goes on a one-man siege against Nanda Parbat. He discovers that Damian is already worshipped by the LoA as the Demon's Head, but nonetheless manages to convince Damian to leave with him to Gotham. 5 years later (Damian is 18) Bruce starts his training as Robin. This doubles as a tutorial for more complicated combat beats. 10 years after that the game officially kicks off as Damian suited up as Batman with Bruce as his tech-support/mentor/conscience.

I'd rather have a Batman Beyond game starring Terry. Damian would be no fun to play as.
