Maybe they'll make Arkham Knight actually good given the new rumors.
I'd rather have a Batman Beyond game starring Terry. Damian would be no fun to play as.
Is it weird at all that Origins seems to be out of the "official" Arkham series cannon? at least per Rocksteady it seems.
If there is an Origins sequel should it now be seen as a totally separate universe from the Rocksteady games world?

Hover for Militia boss spoiler Deathstroke has the same design in Knight as they do in Origins
Firefly often says "You won't stop me again!" and "I'll get you back for leaving me on that bridge!" during Gotham on Fire side missions
The southern part of Arkham City (the extension present during Origins) can be seen, although not as clear as the North end (because it's further away)
In the GCPD evidence room, you can hear Cash talk about evidence from previous villains - including Black Mask, and how it turned out he was Joker
Thugs reference how Anarky would love what's happening in Gotham
Anarky's mask is in GCPD evidence room
Electrocutioner's gloves are in GCPD evidence room. Cash's voice over mentions how Batman handed them in after he was done using them
Random thugs can be heard saying the event of Arkham Knight is their favourite riot, and they've been in every riot since Blackgate
One riddle mentions that Batman visited/confronted Joker at the newly opened Arkham Asylum, shortly after Blackgate
The detective mode from Arkham Origins reappears in Arkham Knight
After taking out some militia watch towers when Deathstroke takes over, he says "I almost had you on that ship!" referring to where their boss fight took place in Origins.
It's technically canon I suppose but it seems like Rocksteady considers their Batman saga to go from Asylum to Knight. Didn't seem to be any references to Origins in Knight unless I missed them?
I think Origins Batman could work better perhaps outside of dealing with any continuity to the Rocksteady games.
we told and showed all that in this very thread. it was show by sefton hill him self on e3 with morgan webb formerly of x play .It's technically canon I suppose but it seems like Rocksteady considers their Batman saga to go from Asylum to Knight. ok now if I remember correctly they continued batman beyond with in JLU the animated seriesBeyond was a one and done deal set in Timm universe. Terry has never been much of an entity in the actual canon and the larger DC universe history or even Batman history.
But to jump straight from Arkham Knight to the distant future where Damian is already an adult? Having not been mentioned once in any of the prior games?
Might be a hard pill for casual players to swallow. But I suppose a lot of that boils down to execution.
I think the who mistake was made by WBI thinking one random mention of his name as ester egg in the first origins game was enough where rocksteady brough him in knight. this is why origin's should have been full series of games it's self too and we might get that now. late that it is .Once again, that didn't stop Rocksteady from bringing in Jason Todd out of thin air.
The Jason Todd "references" were from Arkham Asylum and Arkham City. Two that could've been easily missed, too.
yep that why said it's in the police station where all the confiscated criminal gear is held . it is in deed the evidence room in the po9lice station where your locking up allthe criminals / bat man rogues from arkham in that same police station. If you go to the evidence room in Arkham Knight, there are a bunch of references and items from Origins in there.

and it showed terry as older like some time just after college and he finally picked up detective skills
and after that ended sometime later when the new 52 was happening the series was rebooted in comic book form, show casing terry in his adult years. the new 52vwas failure but that serieso f bat man beyond seemed to be doing well on its own in comic book form and I was seeing it in the solocations alot. where his costume was redesigned a bit . so terry's an adult bat man fully and it they wwere talking about game of that and he's more then on hit wounder.
and the whole batman beyond game was talked when a poster I think he went by dark lord put it up from the leef live twitch channel and both the producer from WBI who was over seeing wb Montreal and the actor playing joker who's of both resident evil and played Joel in The Last Of Us video game fame, asked if we wanted a night wing and batman beyond game and fans wanted both those . this was prior to origins coming out . and before we all knew arkham knight was thing. it's been a thing since with most fan base's across the web.
most people want to see a batman beyond game with terry and in his current state the comics have been showing , he hasn't been in highschool for years,. so that period is over.

well they just have push batman beyond the way they are with the animated movies . Damian has been showing up alot via the animated movies . And that's why he's known these days next to games fallowing suit now.DC started to revive Batman Beyond in 2010. the comics were set in DCAU and were fairly well received but overall they flew under the radar. Then DC tried to bring more prominence to the franchise by integrating it with the mainstream continuity but...well it was a huge clusterfc*k that did more harm than good. They've been trying again with Rebirth but sales aren't looking so good. I loved BB but the concept has struggled since the tv show, it hasn't transcended the medium it was created for. Sure fanboys like us love it but that property isn't hot anymore. Unless Timm and Dini return for a new season or comic I dont ever see it getting reborn. It is famous enough for DC to milk it but not enough to invest.
Its a cash cow, Damian is hot these days, he's a star
they did that with bane cause they made it clear that the only reason origins was originally made was to keep the fan base that was complaining about wanting another installment fallowing arkham city screaming at them busy. The timeline of the Arkham series is seriously messed up and you can feel in Origins that the wish to make it match where Asylum started, hurt the game a bit imo(Bane for example was so great in the beginning, but they had to make him into the one that is the Asylum/city version)
Origins is considered Canon from what i gather...but who knows where this goes and all.
I would love for the Origins series to go its own way, but i was in general one who thought it would be a good idea for WBM to start a new Batman franchise in the first place.
