Batman Beyond Character Creation Help

[Silver Sable]

Hey guys and girls.I made up a sidekick for Terry/Batman and I need some help/suggestions.I think the outfit I made for her doesn't look too amusing and I'm having a hard time thinking of a name for her.I was thinking of Glow but it's too short and corny.If you can think of anything, please feel free to post.I'll explain a little more about her background soon.Thanks.

why does she have such a bright, and almost disco looking costume?

I would think that if this girl was gonna be a Batman sidekick, she would either have a Robin like looking costume, or a Batgirl like costume... OR something dark and sleak. This is way to flashy...

My only issue, besides the stars on her outfit, is that her hair reminds me too much of Rogue. Lemme try and sketch out something forya. Be back inna bit.

i can see where spider-phoenix is coming from, but if ur goin for the younger sidekick that would be a counteragent to the darkness of the bat and boy wonder, then i see where ur goin with this.
A more lively character introduced into the mix usualy brings a new edge to a comic.
Good idea, im guessing she has some kind of Jubilee type powers?

She has energy like powers,can jump really high,can heal wounds with her powers,super strength, and can make a shield like GL

I know that in the Batman universe, you picture heroes dark,serious, and sleak, but I made her a little bright,adventurous,and unique. Example designs would help a lot

I didn't mean it in a bad way. She just kind of looked like a jokerz because of all the bright colors and stuff. I actually think it would make a good story if he got a sidekick that used to be part of the jokerz, cause you know how all the robins and such have messed up pasts.

So, um it's not that we don't like her, we're just trying to understand the character and why she looks the way she does.

I knew you didn't mean it in a bad way but she is not a joker related character.Just a regular high school student.Trust me, I wish I could have thought of a better design for her but this was the best I did and that's why I'm asking you guys for help.I'm not a professional artist so I don't deserve to get criticized about her outfit.Please understand that

no offense but her hair reminds me way too much of rogue. and the stars remind me way too much of dazzler. sorry if i offended your art but i just kind of meant it as constructive criticism. personally, i am not an artist myself so maybe i have very little say in this but.ehh

EDIT: and i also noticed that the stars are on her boobs. lol. it reminds me of like censored commercials.

Doesn't have to be a batsuit, but like... actually, a power enhancing suit could look like anything so forget i said that. hehehe As for the name, Glow isn't bad. I mean Static's sidekick is named Gear!

I explained what her powers are all ready.She transforms by putting her gloves on.Come to thik of it, she does look like a rip off of Rogue and Dazzler a little

just because your not a 'professional' (whatever that is surposed to mean) surely that doesn't mean that you don't want to get better?

People are just telling you what they think about the character, and your going to have to expect that when posting stuff on the interweb.

well, here's my go at it. I used a pic of the animated Batgirl and just sort of built your girl out of that. I changed the colors around to better reflect those of a Batman sidekick. the jacket I think really says 'Robin'. The body suit is supposed to look sort of metallic as if Bruce made a techno-suit for her. i kept the stars but moved them to the leg and I got rid of the 80's type bands and belts that don't really serve any function. I also changed the hair but kept a sort of 'Streak' but tried to make it look less like Rougue. You had said that she gets her powers from her gloves, but they looked just like biking gloves, so I evolved them into techno-gauntlets. Anyway these are all just suggestions and I had fun coming up with this, so...ok. Bye.
