Ultimate Eddie Brock, Gwen Stacey, Venom (Help)

Hey there, this is the latest sketch I've done, I was wondering if I could get some (non-*******) help. Actually, I sorta know what's wrong (Eddie's too short, Gwen's eyes are too far apart, etc.) but I want an opinion - what should the background color be? Clothing colors for Eddie? And what do you think?

I think it will be amazing when done.
Here's what you should do.

Backround: Dark
Gwen: No offense but, she's ugly. You need to fix that. It's not just the eyes.
Brock: He's not only short there, but that's too skinny. Ultimate Eddie is skinny but not 10 year old skinny.

You are on your way to making a good picture though.

Thank you so much, I appreciate the advice! I had originally based Gwen off a panel in USM, but then I realized you're right, she is a bit ugly. If I finish this up, I'm going to re-draw it entirely, using the advice you gave me.
