You sound fun.
You sound fun.
You kinda want an obvious horrid choice to loom over this series, at the expense of the best comic book characters reputation... for a quick laugh?
Yall are determined to bring DC to the dark ages. Dont wanna hear moaning when were in our 40s and 50s with no new films in sight.![]()
Apparently a blatant smiley wasnt enough to clue you in on sarcasm, eh?You know, I'm not wild about Driver as a choice for this character either, but I'm a little tired of this kind of stuff in the casting threads.
Sometimes it isn't about tanking a movie just for a laugh. Sometimes it's about yearning for an opportunity to shut up the same kind of people who pitched a fit about Michael Keaton's casting almost 30 years ago.
None of us here are casting the movie and none of us here have perfected the art of casting. A seemingly perfect choice for the role could take a big hit if the script/director aren't right, and a very unconventional choice, one none of us could ever imagine working out, could flourish in the right hands.
Someone on an internet message board wanting Adam Driver to play Batman doesn't pose an existential threat to the future of these films. They pose an existential threat to your not being trolled for being too uptight about internet casting choices.
Conveniently he has no reason to be out speaking with the press, so there's no real opportunity to do so. We might get something during the Golden Globes or Oscars, if an interviewer there is knowledgeable of the rumors.has Gyllenhaal spoken about the rumors?
Moon Knight is basically a Marvel proxy version of Batman.Unrelated but BossLogic just made this picture of Gyllenhaal as Marvel's Moon Knight. Hmmm.

Realistically, the less that an actor says, the more I think there's an actual possibility there.
When it's someone like Tyrese going online saying "I WANNA BE JOHN STEWART! I WANNA BE JOHN STEWART! I WANNA BE JOHN STEWART!" that just makes me think... well that guy is clearly never going to be John Stewart.

ThisWe don't know yet. I personally would like to see something more comic booky than Nolan's version but not as cartoonish as Affleck's version. There has to be a comfortable medium in there somewhere.
