I'm trying to forget that Brolin starts in Lee's Oldboy remake but people keep reminding me with pictures. Come on, i like the dude don't make me hate him :P

The manip with him wearing the armor looks kinda good. I'm not negative with Josh being Bats, let's wait and see. I doubt they are going to confirm anything before the script is finished. Christian Bale didn't accept the part in Year One film because there was no script i don't see anyone signing in for a Superman/Batman without at least half a script.

Being handsome and charming isn't the same as being pretty/ a pretty boy.

For example to me Jeff Bridges is charming but he is not pretty by standard deffinition.

A pretty boy is like a model, you see so many in the magazines and you hardly recognize any. They all look the same unless they are good actors, then you start to hate them because you are neither a pretty boy nor an actor :P.

Superman could be a pretty boy (and i guess he is, my mom really liked Cavill) but Batman has to be handsome/charming not a pretty boy.

Brolin is getting this role if it is indeed a mid 40s Miller-esque Bruce Wayne. Ill bet anything on it. He IS that version of Batman if he was in his 40s.

Theyre most likely signing this actor for 2 films and then moving on to either Batman Beyond or solo films with a new actor portraying the younger Batman. Brolin's got this.

Because Matt Bomer's face looks manly to me.
Some angles could suggest he has a baby face, but in the good ones, he has a manly chin and I would say, he's like a Ken doll.

A pretty boy to me, would be someone with a Japanese face because their eyes are effeminate. It's about the pencils too...

Actually, as far as I know, all actors with blue eyes seems "pretty".
While that ones with black eyes seem rude, their look is piercing.

Tom Cruise is pretty to me. Very pretty!
But I forget it with his glasses.

Chace Crawford is not gay but I think he loooks sometimes too effeminate because of his eyes.

But watch Matt with dark eyes or as Ken in Magic Mike.
You don't feel he is necessary pretty. More like he seriously want to bed you. (or at least the girl on the table when he plays a doctor!)

This conversation is getting ridiculous. People obviously have very different ideas as to what makes someone a "pretty boy" or not. Some just use it as a quick term for good looking, clean-cut guys. Even Christian Bale was referred to as a "pretty boy" by the Joker's thugs in The Dark Knight. It's not a big deal if an actor portraying Wayne is perceived that way, but not to the extent that he is elven looking.

Bomer's, look is Perfect, for Bruce Wayne. He is like a spitting image. Not sure, he is big enough, or tall enough for Batman.

Moreover, as it's already been said, Keaton has a stunt double...

Bomer is a great choice.
It's better if he's good at being BW anyway.
As Batman, he would just wears the costume, that's not the big deal.
The most important part is to be believable as Bruce Wayne the playboy.
