I'm seriously laughing at news outlets reporting that stupid CBN article.

They said Tyler Hoechlin was under consideration. ..now all of a sudden WB suddenly change their minds for older actors? They must've had the idea at the start.

It's why I don't believe that.

Do I believe Bentley was suggested by Nolan? It's a possibility. Good publicity as well if he has tge guy who plays Batman in his new film.

We all know Jake G. was Goyer's favourite.

But I can't see either of them getting the role, because they just aren't right.

I think Deadline is the only site which reports legit insider news which is actually true.

I understand that. And that played into my choices. It just sort of shook out the way it did that all pretty guys went into the no bracket. Like Gosling, even if I thought he had the right look, I can't stand him because of how smarmy and off-putting he comes across in all his roles. It seems to me he's posing more than he's acting.

Acting it's really important Karl Urban knows how to act and he knows how to play the tough guy. Your're only looking for a meathead.

I do hope he makes an attempt to return. It's entirely his baby, his conception, his vision. In its own blockbustery way, his Star Trek films are sort of an auteur undertaking, they extremely singular to their director's vision.

And yes, Kinnaman as Robocop and Metallo might draw criticism, but I think he's an awesome actor, and looks a lot like Metallo in STAS

Bentley is not a great actor nor a draw. I think Hamm, Brolin or bust for this film. Gyllenhaal probably has a bit of cred but I think he's too sleazy and still boyish for it.

Hardly, Ledger was a great actor before TDK. I loved the casting when it was announced.

As soon as I saw the Ledger announcement, I knew it was going to be special. He had already been established as a versatile, talented actor.

The Joker role needed to be 'redefined' for TDK.

For MoS2, it's still hard to tell what they're going for in the case it's an older Batman. Old and grumpy? Charming and witty? Brooding and serious? But once the casting is announced it will all probably make more sense.

After watching all of Teen Wolf in two weeks, I'm big for Hoechlin. The guys just seems perfect for the role.

Just cast Armitage. His eyes suggest a thoughtful, broody, energetic, serious, and soulful character at times.

I'm Bruce Wayne.

He has the look, practically has the Batman voice now, AND he can do action well.
