Batman Forever: Dark Knight Edition

I'm glad Man-Bat wasn't inserted into this movie.

Can i get a pm of the red book please ;) would be verry appreceated;)

You want me to support my claim? Have you seen the movie? The last 30 minutes are the worst!
A secret Bond style island with misslile command centre covered with ? marks? Are you serious?
Riddler is barely even the riddler. He's just Carrey making an ass out of himself again. Two-face cackling endlessly. The bad make-up on his face. The silly Robin and Sonar suits. You tell me, how exactly does that work?
You are not worth arguing with.

What saves BF for me is the remnants of a great story and the ties to the Burton character arc. That, and it's a lot of fun. Crap aside, overall, it's serious enough and still has some high flying adventure.

In my own personal edit, I think I'd only remove Carrey and Jones being so stupid. It wouldn't be perfect, but then I'd be able to call it out-and-out good instead of "ummm... it's good and then it's bad."

Ah, I'd love to find that Edition... Sounds great (I'm generally a fan of re-edits, you should see the one a guy from the Highlander forums did for Highlander: Endgame. Wow!).

You know what? You sir, are an IDIOT!

You ask me to support my claim, i do, and then you pull this crap! I'll remember your name, and remember not to bother talking to you again. Bye.

Hello Gianakin. How are you?

Hello, I'm just fine, thanks. You?

Don't get this the wrong way, but... do I know you from somewhere else?

If anyone got a link to the downloadable version of this, PM it to me please.

For the record the best fan-made anything of Batman I've seen was Patient J

Patient J got so over the top to the point of cornyness at times. I think the best Batman fan film is hands down that Spanish Arkham Asylum joint. The tone and visuals are simply pitch perfect. I'd love to see a mainstream Bat film like that one day. Maybe if WB wisens up and hires Alfonso Cuaron when Nolan wraps up his story.

Agreed with everything you said. However, the spanish language didn't help. Nothing against the language itself, but when I heard Joker say "Holla Batman", I laughed my guts out.
But Cuarron doing Batman? Count me in!

My parents are Domincan so I'm a Spanish speaker so I didn't mind it too much. But truthfully it did come across as hilarious and did not justice to the tone inflicted in the film's visuals. Still though it was incredibly impressive I now look at fan films as more than just home made costume showcases. Cuaron would just make too much sense so would Aronofsky, Proyas and Fincher. If there are new execs at WB by that time, they'd probably get someone like Stephen Sommers or Michael Bay though, God I hope not.

NOT BAY!
Seriously though, I really didn't like Miller's Batman: Year One Script. Not cinematic at all to me.
And I don't think they'll get such low names to direct a future Batman film. Even when they hred Schumacher, they did so based on his previous films which were dark and character-based. I'm sure in the worst cases they'll be hiring someone as bad as Schumacher, which is not bad on its own (I recall Schumacher wanting to adapt Year One and he studio forced B&R).
It's the writers I'm afraid of. If they get someone like Akiva "Golden Mediocrity/ Ron Howard's partner in crime" Goldsman, then we're in deep trouble.

The last three posts in this thread are strange. Someone could be stalking Gianakin, or it could just be a friend.

On a different note, if anyone hasn't received the link to the torrent yet and would like it, PM me. I may have simply not noticed your post in this thread asking for the link. I want everyone who wants it to get it, so just PM me if you have not gotten the link yet.

I got the link fine. And, he is a friend, not a stalker!

This sound very interesting. I wish we could see it & that they keep the parts that were darker. Would've made BF a little bit better despite Jones & Carrey acting silly.

It talks a lot about the "On Star" TV ads....does anyone know who played Vicki Vale in the one On Star ad....she looks so familiar.
