Batman Forever

Yeah, & that's because the script was horrible. In fact, the only reason I even bother to watch B&R is because of Arnold, Chris, & Jeep (Bane). Those are the only reasons. Btw, I hate how Batgirl was introduced.

Besides being a nice peice of ass, she's a good actress as well which is why if she were in an actual movie with Batman with Nolan directing & with a real script, she'd be loads better than Michelle.

Btw, due to her being pregnant her boobs have gotten bigger. :hoboj:

forgive me for totally diagreeing with you, pfieffer was a kickass catwoman who actually could ACT in the role, halle berry might have gotten an oscar but everything she did afterward was sh**. shes overhyped in the looks department and she was the worst thing about "die another day", pretty much killed the film. nope, she sucks.

Halle Berry....overated in the looks department? Are you.....one of those guys.....who like.....guys? No, seriously Michelle is overrated & she's not that good of an actress & she looks terrible now adays.

Let's not get crazy now. Halle is one fine woman. But Pfieffer IS Catwoman, she was so damn sexy in that role, it makes my head spin when I think about it.:ikyn

Michelle looks good now-a-days IMO. Seriously, for like a 40 year old she's still got it.

Halle is way overrated though, i've never actually seen her in anything I like. Apart from Swordfish.

Michelle totally looks awesome for her age she was hot back in 92 and is still hot now.

So anyway back onto topic of Batman Forever. I wanted to discuss what I thought was a the weakest link of the movie: Two-Face

Why is he in here again? What's the point what is he trying to do except kill Batman? I love this movie, and Tommy Lee Jones, and I can even deal with this version of Two-Face. But we all know he was written all wrong and the script didn't give us any agenda as to why he was doing what he was doing.

Also when he learns of the fact that Batman is Bruce Wayne his long time pal...instead of being confused, angry, devasted, and lost as he should have been he was happy. I always hated that part.

..He hated Batman because he didn't think he did enough to stop Maroni from throwing the acid on him, which, is kinda right.. I mean, who the hell can sneak Sulfuric Acid into a court room when the Police and Batman are around? The sheer laziness of the GPD astounds me.

Highlighted in depth by Burton's Commish. I liked the introduction for Two-Face, even though it was short it was *right*.

If that were real life, no one would have been able to sneak anything. In real life there's always that one person everywhere who looks shifty & I'm sure that trying to sneak acid would've gotten him an ass kicking by the police and/or Batman.

Which reminds me in the tape Bruce was watching to serve as an quick explanation as how Two Face came to be in the courtroom why the heck was Batman in the courtroom, doesn't he jump in front of him and try to stop it?

I never knew it was Batmans job to expect Maroni throwing acid on people and to stop it...it's a lame excuse at best.

Maybe Batman was going to testify?

I liked that whole bit, it was one of the few origins done right for Batman character's.

Batman was in the court room because he was there in the original Two Face origin story.

That looks like Lois Lane that says "My poor Darling!"

We know where Superman is going to be peeping next.

No way the cops want Bats...no way they would let him just sit in a courtroom and testify he would be cuffed and locked up.

I hate old stories that are untrue to the nature of the character...lame.

He's a vigilante taking the law into his own hands...which is against the law.

Bill Finger would disagree and would tell you something about the true nature of the character :oldrazz:

The Silver Age is where Batman was a friend to the public. In those days he was less of a vigilante as more of an icon, along the lines of Superman (albeit retaining his darkness and not being a meta-human).

Show some respect to those classic stories. After all, they were around before you were, and set the stage for its successors. Even Frank Miller's TDKR is an answer to it: take him away from the public light for once, make him into a hardcore anti-hero.

Batman wouldn't be what he is today without the panels DoctorBaywatch posted.

Whoa.... I might even expect this scene to take place in TDK.... like, the way it's even played out here. It doesn't seem so outlandish for Nolan's Batman to be in a courtroom... we've already seen him in an Interrogation Room with Joker. In addition, he's also Friends with a Lt. and 2 D.A.'s of Gotham. I could see it happening.

That's the Golden Age, not the Silver Age. Although yes, he was more of a public figure in the Silver Age than he is now. Even in the current comics he interacts with police and government officials from time to time.

Does anyone have recent pictures of Two-Face from the comics? I need some.

They started him off as an anti-hero in the Golden Age and then progressively got lighter. Yeah.
