The Dark Knight Batman: Good Role Model?

His intentions are good and his moral is in the right place. It depends on the person being raised to believe in him.

If a psychotic person grows up admiring Batman, thinking violence, obsession and disobeying is the only way to solve problems, then he's not a good role model for that person.

However, if someone who has strong morals, is taking the intentions to heart, like not killing, treating your fellow man with a descent and honorable approach, striving to uphold justice, and making the world a better place, no matter how small the action, then yes, he could be a good role model for that person.

Like I say, depends on the person.

It's amazing though how all the superheroes immediately thought of the women in their life and Batman thought of Robin. Makes Batman seem like ya know.

pedophilish?
:hehe:

That's the joke.

Batman is no worse or better a role model than...anybody who wears a costume...

But who else has actually TRIED to be a role model?

I dont think Batman is trying to be a role model...he's trying to represent a sign that justice will take back the streets of gotham...hes not suggestion people should follow his methods, hence the reason why he dosent support the fake batmen in TDK

Unfortunately role models don't usually sign up for the position. The fact that kids think Batman is cool makes him someone they could see as a role model, regardless of if he encourages it.

Batman is rich, powerful, has many friends like Robin, Nightwing, Oracle, Gordon, Lucius, Superman, Lois, Leslie, Alfred etc. He doesn't kill his enemies. Drives cool cars. Has many beautiful women who want him.

Hell yeah he's a good role model :D
