The Dark Knight Rises Alberto Falcone's Role?

If he is indeed in the film, how would he be portrayed on screen?

Perhaps he asserts himself as the new crime kingpin in the power vacuum left by the events of TDK. Maybe he hires/recruits Bane to be his own personal "Batman" to deal with any perceived threats to his turf-- including Batman and Catwoman. I did mention this in the Bane thread, but wanted more people to think about that possibility and respond, or just offer up their own ideas about how Falcone could be utilized.

Of course the role could be inspired by the Holiday Killer storyline, but I think Falcone may be a better fit as the man who brings Bane to Gotham, as he is somebody who could benefit from his presence and afford to pay him what would surely be a heavy fee for his services.

I think its a sure-fire bet that Bane, no matter how Nolan interprets him, is going to be a gun-for-hire... so either Alberto Falcone is going to hire him, or Talia Al Ghul...

Frankly, I am more interested in seeing it being Talia. I was very very very much in support of Catwoman being in TDKR over Talia... however... now that it's confirmed that Selina is in the movie, I think Talia being the one to hire Bane is much more interesting than another mob boss....

Someone else posted this in another thread, so I'm not taking credit for it, but I have a feeling the plot of TDKR is going to concern Talia Al Ghul hiring Bane and Selina/Catwoman being an morally-ambiguous ally of Batman/not a villain.... I think two hot babes in one Bat Flick would be a good way to top the Joker's presence.

I understand why you'd think Bane was going to be a gun for hire, but how exactly did you deduce that it had to be Alberto Falcone or Talia al Ghul?

I admire your honesty, but no. Two hot babes is not equal to or greater than The Joker.
