Batman R.I.P.

Hm, I hadn't thought about the college thing. However, if one wanted to reconcile this problem, one could suppose that Dick, being especially intelligent, went to college a couple of years early.

You could.......But they went out of their way to indicate that Robin was legally an adult when he entered college.Which means he had to be at least 18 when he entered.

And since he was there a "FEW" years before he dropped out he had to at least be 21 when he dropped out of college.

Granted I know all this was retconed a good number of times since then but I'm just talking about the original age differences.

Well, age gap may be shorter....but for some silly reason...Jason looks as old as Bruce. Por que? Did the Lazarus pit have something to do with that?

It's just the art. Jason's no older than he should be.

Am I the only one who wants at least a short arc, dealing with a "World without Batman?". I would like to see how Dick, Tim, Jason, Gordon etc. deal without Bruce/Batman, espically seeing how Gotham reacts as soons as Batman leaves. The villians wreacking havoc and the Bat family having to deal with it without their leader till someone takes the mantle; would be good to see how the JLA and Supes cope without Bruce.

That would be an interesting story but I don't think it'll happen. I think that there's got to be a contingency plan in place in case Batman dies. When wouldn't see anyone's reactions except the JLA and other heroes that know Batman's secret identity.

It would be interesting to see how other characters behave around Batman though if he isn't "the ghoul". I'd be willing to bet that whoever takes over the suit won't display the fact that he isn't really the same Batman as before.

well, that's kinda what they're doing in the Bat-Family titles. How are Robin and Nightwing and The Outsiders dealing with problems while Batman isn't there? I would love to see it on a more long-term basis though. Do a bigger, singular arc about how the world is without Batman.

Morrison says that Crisis takes place after RIP, and that the Batman in Crisis is Bruce Wayne, only maybe not as we know him.

He also says that the "fall" of Batman works like this: RIP sets up the reason for Battle for the Cowl, but Bruce is still Batman in the story immediately following RIP; a two-parter that ties into Final Crisis, then the "final fate" of Bruce is in Final Crisis itself. I wasn't clear on where the Gaiman story falls, but I would assume it's after the Final Crisis tie-in story, followed by Battle for the Cowl.

The chronology of these stories leaves something to be desired.

Is Black Glove the name of the group consists of Simon Hurt and Club of Villains or it's a mastermind behind everything yet to be revealed?

Am I the only one worried about the possible consequences of this storyline? Unlike The Flash or GL, Batman can't be anyone but Bruce Wayne. IMO, at least.

It's before.

Batman R.I.P.
FC tie in
FC
Whatever Happened to the Caped Crusader
Battle for the Cowl

So who's Batman in the first bit of FC? Why hasn't the costume changed (if that's even going to happen...)

It's Bruce Wayne and I think that new costume if it even happens will be after whatever happens to the character by the end of Final Crisis. Morrison has left Batman out of FC cause R.I.P. and the two issue story tie into it. So this is one of the lead up's to Batman's role and fate in FC.

I have a feeling that there's going to be something akin to that with Gaiman's Whatever Happened and the Battle for the Cowl stories.

I'm just curious about this "Final Crisis tie-in." Is that the two-parter with Alfred?
