Why wait for a Hot Toys, when that figure above is so on point? :o

The g/f hooked it up for X-Mas and before the Mattel January 1st street date.

Got the Movie Masters aka re-branded "DC Multiverse" 6 inch BvS figures:

Batman (huge)
Superman (new Cavill head sculpt, paint apps)
Wonder Woman (decent Gadot likeness)
Armored Batman (imposing)

They're all fantastic. Marvel Legends movie caliber. Great likeness and detail. About $20 a pop.

Can't wait for Lex, Knightmare Bats, and presumably Doomsday and Aquaman.

And she also got the more kid friendly caricature based line (like the Aquaman pictured above) of regular Batman and Armored Batman.

Don't get the whining over the kids line. It's meant to look more animated and accessible to the youngins. They're $10 as opposed to $20. And at least they're 6 inches with quality sculpts even with an animated flair. They aren't dinky like Marvel did with the 2.5 and 4 inch happy meal toy caliber. Plus the likeness is softer to the actors but it's still visibly there. I'll get the Supes, WW and Aquaman too.

All I want now is the Mafex Batman and Superman.

Can you post pics of the Multiverse Regular Batman? last we saw it, it looked terrible, vastly inferior to the prototype at SDCC.

I will, sure. Haven't opened mine though.

It looks like the prototype ... Only difference is the tone of grey on the production version. But frankly it's more accurate when compared to the test shot of the Bat suit we've seen. The only thing I think could've been improved was the paint on the eyes. The size of them more specifically. Certain angles it looks worse than others.

The cowl has the organic, leather skin type texture it has in small detail on the movie suit. The belt, brass knuckles, gauntlets, and steel toes are more accurate than the SDCC two pack. Featuring the movie accurate black paint faded bronzed steel.

Are you referencing the Aquaman figure I was talking about? I paid $6 a figure back in the day for figures on the Legends level of greatness in the 6" size. $10 seems like a lot for horrible, 4 color figures.

Looking foward to it, thanks.

It still looks horrible.
Hopefully it's been improved. But i'm definitely getting mafex.

No you didn't ... Legends were 10 to 15 dollars. Aimed at adult collectors. Plus it's called inflation.

The kid lines for the Avengers movie figures were micro machine size at 2 inches or 4 inches. Yet were sold for like $7 or $8. If we are comparing kid based lines, these 6 inch figures are bigger and better while at a similar price point.

The Mattel DC multiverse movie figures are every bit as good as the Hasbro cinematic legends adult line.

Sorry, I wasn't saying that I bought Legends figures for that. I was talking about earlier, animated series and movie figures. In the 90's. I understand inflation, but there is no way they need to charge $10 for that crap. If it's truly for kids, charge $7.99 and you'll sell a hell of a lot more.

The mega-armored Lex Luthor even has the LexCorp logo at the center......could it possibly end up in the film?

Not necessarily. Action figure lines always seem to have figures that have nothing to do with the movie they represent, either some with outrageous color schemes, or even characters that didn't appear in the movie.
One of the figure lines for one of the Nolan movies had a Firefly figure, that had nothing to do with the movie. So, no, having an armored Lex figure means little to nothing.as far as being in the movie. Perhaps there is an armored Lex in the movie, we don't know, but the action figure is proof of nothing.

Bearbrick's Superman reminds me of the stuffed pilot in Airplane!

Wow, Disney now owns Marvel AND DC?!
