BvS Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Merchandise - Part 1

Ah, yeah, I remember now, we saw them at SDCC. I must agree with Reel-Man that these Mattel figures do look like crap, though. I can understand collecting Hot Toys and to lesser extent those Mafex ones, as they look rather nice being displayed as statues on a shelf, but this stuff really looks cheap. I guess people are buying them for their kids.

I want to buy figures so bad, but I'll probably only end up getting Knightmare Batman and Bizarro Supes (cause you know it's coming! )

This is the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Merchandise thread not the funny gif thread.....

Look at what was in my store: Cereal!!!!

I bought both of them. Dunno if I should eat them or save them. If I do, it might get moldy, lol

Target already has merchandise on shelves, I don't know how the price of $19.99 for those Fisher Price looking basic figures is going to entice fans into buying that crap.

Yeah, "collector's packaging" didn't sell it for me. That's steep for low quality paint jobs and facial molds. Looks like I'll just be getting the DC Collectibles figures and maybe a Play Arts Kai one day. Oh, and those little Hot Toys baby figures if they're cheap enough.

Eat em and tell us what tastes better, Hope or Vengeance?

Definitely agree here, looking at the PAK and MAFX, i might just go with the latter. But I'll also be looking out for a DC collectables version, just picked up thier MMH and i love it.

Found these bad boys at target in carlingford syndey
Still no figures though....

Those MAFEX figures are so tempting, but $40 is a little high for an action figure. Maybe if I saw one in person it would change my mind, haha. But for some reason, that 12.5" armored Batman figure from DC Collectibles is well worth it. I just hope it ends up having a good paint job and the colors are right.

I think I'm choosing the MAFX over PAK because of the price, those PAK are like $80 to $100 to start.

Thanks! I'm surprised that we're seeing DoJ merchandise down under so soon after the US. I'll have to start checking Target for any sign of the action figures.

You guys are crazy, buying all that stuff. Most of these look like crap, I don't get the appeal. If they were statuettes or hot toys type figures I'd understand. Only thing I'm getting is a Batmobile probably. Will have to see which ones are the really accurate and detailed ones.
I'm onlty buying a few things Reel, not ALL of it. I want that one Red box WW all my Walmart has is the $10 version

The Batmobile and Batwing look good, but I'm not a fan of the coloured guns on the front.

I'm hoping for a 24th scale Batmobile diecast like Hot Wheels had with the Keaton Batmobile

Knightmare Batman and Lex Luthor are confirmed. Aquaman and Doomsday are heavily rumoured (and would seem the most likely, especially with Aquaman's inclusion in the "basic" line).

Imagine if figures 5-8 were Knightmare Batman, Aquaman, and then Flash and GL, filling out the full JL lineup??

I'm curious where Lex was confirmed? That would certainly blow that theory out of the water.

Went to Toys'R'us to check out what BvS they had, sadly a rather limited selection up in the great white north it seems.

They had the Mattel versions, for $16.99 plus (Canadian) tax, so they were about $20 each total. They had the 4 mains in these, Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and Battle Armour Batman.

They also had the 12 inch Barbie looking ones, with only like 4 PoAs, but they only had Batman and Superman, no WW.

They did have the larger Batmobile, as well as the smaller pull back one and pull back Batwing.

So, only ended up getting the Mattel WW for my daughter, which she was very excited about, but nothing for myself yet. Holding out for the Multiverse versions, or similar.
Gonna probably check out Walmart today, and hopefully they have some.

Canada seems to put these things on the shelves much later, and in much smaller selections, than the usa.

Was hoping to pick some of the toys up at Toys'r Us in New York in february, with that closing does anyone know some stores where I might be able to pick them up?

You can try Amazon. From what I've seen it's the same price except Wonder Woman which is currently $44.99. I was able to buy both Batmans from there so I didn't have to deal with the stress of driving around looking for them.

Although, I did drive to a Toys R' Us, Target, and Wal-Mart yesterday and I gotta say I understand why everyone here does it. There's a certain thrill when you see them lol.

There are pictures of a Lex figure that was displayed at a convention (along with the Knightmare Bats). The pics are buried somewhere in this thread.

That Superman cereal sounds like it'll be bad. The Batman on has promise.

Yea was hoping to pick hem up in store somewhere, as I don't live in the US and am visiting New York in february, so was hoping to pick up some merchandise while I was there :)

I grabbed all of the Multiverse figures out so far at TRU. I nabbed Armored Batman, Supes, Batman and Wonder Woman. For the most part the sculpts and paint jobs look ok but I'm not impressed by any means.

When is comes to movie studios at least, a lot of Superman fans feel that Supes is definitely the red-headed stepchild, lol. So a

cereal--in comparison to Batman's--would be no surprise to them!
