Creepy stuffed toys... people buy them ?
People buy a lot of things. Especially merchandise to popular properties. Why are you so surprised or perplexed?

Then I have to tell you a was pretty bummed Mattel got the job again after Superman Returns. Piss poor. They had no idea there was an adult market. But the MOS Figures were a huge improvement. The BvS figures are about on the that same level maybe a little better here and there. They're not supposed to super detailed and flawless or anything but it does appear that they've figured out that adults are looking to collect these. It shows.Agreed. Though I don't know why they made those bright streaks in his hair and beard grey... looks like he got cement all over him.![]()
Anyway, I'm not really familiar with action figures, so I don't know what's the usual quality of Mattel, but I see quite few things they botched here. I'm also waiting to see Hot Toys one, by the way.
I'm a Neca guy and I'm praying that outside of the 18" Batfleck they're already doing that they're able to get the license to do 7" Cavill Supes and Batfleck.

I see... well, I can only imagine how they used to look then. And I guess it's alright for the price.
True. However, I'm saving all my coins for the Superman HOT TOYS figure. I was going to pre-order but then I came to my senses. I have to see the product first hand. I almost got caught up with how amazing the show figure looks.
If we've got the aquaman, where are the other 3 of 5-8???
Probably Lex, Knightmare Bats and Doomsday. I wouldn't be surprised if we find out next weekend.

Good choice. These Hot Toys look so good that even I feel tempted to buy them, despite not really being into action figures and already having another hobby that's sucking the money from my pockets. But you think they might change for worse from how they looked at the show? It'd really be a dick move if they do that. By the way, they should lower the price for Aquaman one, with him being shirtless and all.![]()
What's next weekend?

Lol feel no shame. It only sounds funny because of the manufacture name. But if it was Mattel more people would own up and admit they want it too.My first and only HT figure is Man Of Steel one.I'd like to collect those figures but as I'm not from USA, total its very expensive for me. I'm saving money for second HT Superman he looks flawless. but I think same... to say the truth original released figure never looks as flawless as prototype. we can see a very big difference between promo photo and actual released MOS figure... promo photos paint job is 10 times better. more texture and more likeness. so I don't really know how real released Superman will look. even there is note that PROTOTYPE SHOWN AND RELEASED ONE SHOULD BE SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT. so don't know pre-order or wait till release...but maybe we will not get him for retail then? :\
P.S. I know it sounds stupid but I really want this BARBIE onedrl:
For this film I will probably stick with the DC Collectibles statues, possibly the Kotobukyia statue and the play arts Kai figures.
